There Are No Stupid Questions?

I went into a wal-mart with my father in law today. He was looking for a book. It was a new wal-mart and we didnt know where the books were. So we ask a worker.
Us: Where are the books?

Walmart worker: You mean the kind you read?

Us:

Please post your own.

I don't think that's quite as stupid a question as it looks/sounds on the face of it. What the worker probably meant was whether you were asking about hard-copy books or e-readers.

That'd be my guess anyway.

Boy, I guess. But books have always been books to me.

And I like the funky chicken dance. I wanted to see it live.

Not a chance dude, I'd wager you the walmart worker doesn't even know what an E-reader is.

The training at Wal-mart is honestly very very good. But in actuality this guy was an idiot and trust me he wasnt thinking of audio or E-readers or nothing else, it was more just a dumb response than anything.

My gf's cousin had an ex bf who had lettuce on his plate one time. He asked if it was lettuce or salad.

The alternative was probably coloring books.

Aren't all the books (paper, audio, and coloring) in the same section? An e-reader is not a book, it's an electronic device. I thought all those things were up front by the bathrooms, with the magazines?

Just after we had our twins (one boy and one girl) we were asked by the nurse at the hospital, who just did a quick check on the two kids and had their files in her hand, if the twins were identical.

I wanted to respond....yes except he has a penis and she doesn't.

That's been my experience. Audio books are with the paper books. E-readers (Sony) are with the electronics, but you also read e-readers...

Maybe that area has a lot of book burnings, and that Wal-Mart had a special section for books to be burned.

Maybe and I'm reaching he was thinking like reading books vs. notebooks, or even book keeping books which would be in a different section
