Let's wait to see if we get a reset on PM's. I am heeding your advice from earlier and want to be very careful here.

But basically I think the gist is look, we are two and a half weeks into this game with no end in sight. We have enough support to at least draw which doesn't change anything. We are not asking for any long term commitments but really, this is the time to make a big move with minimal risk.

My hope is to counter immediately if we win. I don't think that productivity makes a difference but it is a good point and one I will address with Chief in the PM I'll be sending him today.

As for your messages, yeah, might not hurt to send one to Theon. What should we do with the other?

Did Greyjoy give us the code in thread?

Maybe a touch base with him, or one to Joffrey reminding him that we could use his help; maybe hint we have more help than last time and that it would be best for him not to try and join any faction before fighting since he is basically unable to be killed in war (as I understand Kings lose bannermen but if one has no bannermen it seems you should be able to fight anyway).

I think I'll use mine to Stark.

I've got you set up to raid tonight. Stannis declared war on us so tomorrow we'll be fighting (we probably need help to win so decided to wait a day and see what we can line up) so will need to try and do some diplomacy during the day. Today got split into two days so it's a long one.

Plus maybe a code word or something to let us know what he is thinking? I never got a reply from my earlier PM to him so I'd be careful about too many details.

Balon only really has ships. I doubt he'll help us if we decide to fight on land.

I don't think we should tell anyone where exactly we are having the battle. Did he mention to you then that he is mostly navy? Makes sense.

Couple things.

The Penrose search fell through the cracks. We have been given a bonus as compensation for that but apparently our chance of getting Theon would have been around 25%, Karstark had the best chance.

There is no defensive bonus based on a land's productivity.

OK Brienne, I'm trying to decide on inland or coastal.

There are no guarantees of course but I believe we will have assistance with both men or ships (Greyjoy). I take it you feel pretty confident after your parlays there. Based on PM's I've recieved/main thread stuff I am feeling fairly good that Stannis may stand alone (depending on Lannister who remains kind of a mystery).

Inland we take his ships out of the picture and could do a number on his army. Coastal, provided we have naval assistance we might be able to take out both but it gives him a slightly better chance since that is where his main strength is.

If neither of your bannermen shows up by 2 p.m. PDT, I'll let you serve as your own emmissary. But one of your bannerman will then be ineligible to go raiding/capturing if it comes to it (since that would be the normal cost).

Tell him we are very interested in him joining our House, sell us the best you can and try and have him let us know what kind of incentives etc he is looking for. I can follow up if necessary using Darth's PM.

I'm trying to work on the best way to sell our faction: mentioning our allies, armies, the possibly fraying relationship between Stannis and Stark etc. and suggesting that he wait for the end of the battle if he needs more evidence, but it doesn't look very convincing to me. Do you have any suggestions?
