In the round robin stage Team USA plows through competiion without looking back and sweeps all 4 games by a combined score of 38-2. The surprise of the competition was home team Canada letting down their fans with an 0-4 performance, like they didn't even try.

The Semi-Finals are:
German vs. USA
Sweden vs. Russia

In the second semi-final Sweden loses a heart-breaker in overtime to Russia 4-3 as they blow a 2-0 1st period lead when they begin to act as if they will be given a mdeal by just showing up.

Germany vs. Sweden for the bronze medal.

Russia vs. USA for the Gold Medal.

Germany starts out strong in the bronze medal game as they play tight defense and hit anything that moves. They take a 1-0 lead after the 1st period.

In the 2nd period Germany continues their strong play with 2 goals and allow Sweden little room to breath as they out shot them 11-3. It's 3-0 Germany after the second period.

The 3rd period is all defense until Sweden finally gets on the board as they score late with the extra attacker for the 3-1 final.

Germany wins the bronze.

The 2nd is al USA and they put 25 shots on goal and score 4 times to take a commanding 7-1 lead into the final period.

Russia has no answer as the teams each score one goal in the final period. USA wins 8-2.

USA wins the Gold
Russia gets the Silver

After the gold medal game the celebration continues deep into the night for Team USA. During the celebration you decide that someone needs to leave the olympic village.

Due to the poor effort given by Canada in the hockey tournament it makes sense for you to remove the final member of team Canada, or so you believe.

As you look for KWhit you see that he is already leaving the village. It seems that he herd about the pictures of him that surfaced. Just what he was doing with that moose no-one really wants to know.

KWhit was a vanilla villager.

As a point of order there were two bonus abilities used on day 5. The wolves already know about the block so I'm not givig anything away here. There was an extra vote in play in the lynch vote and then a "bonus block" in the night phase.

Because that means there could have only been two wolves to begin with -- if there were three wolves to begin with, they'd have four now, and have won. Does anyone want to argue for a conversion, or can we just assume that didn't happen?

That's exactly what my move was -- if someone switched, I didn't want it to work. It's a switch that helped save you -- probably against my better judgment, since I had a pretty good line of reasoning on you.

That said, I'm not voting nightfall -- I'm still willing to listen to thoughts that NTN was lying here. But I'm not worried about your nightfall vote -- you won't be the first person this game to unvote nightfall on me!
