4+ years - he'll pillage the countries resources and install a horrible deficit by cutting corporate taxes and such, this will allow him to look great in the short-term as 'growth' will rise as will the stock market and house prices. He's incredibly clever at ensuring he has 'good press' both through his twitter feed but also by promoting things which were likely going to occur as being caused by him - for instance company in Indiana outsourcing 1,300 jobs on his watch NO, he's 'saved' 700 jobs rather and made himself and the company into heroes because they didn't outsource them all ....

Then eventually people will notice the deficit coming on the back of these tax breaks and bribes to large corporations ... at this point its likely to be because there will be no option but to cut back on services such as Medicare, Social Services and the like which is consequence which the Republican party will like.

If Trump is in power during that period, he'll get some flack and then the Democrats will come back in and try and repair the damage, if he's already out then the Republicans will blame the Democrats for the issues they've caused ...

PS - I largely see his presidency as a repeat of the Thatcher years in England, break workers down and make them accept less while ensuring that anything done by the government well is placed into the private sector where a profit can be made out of making the service worse ...

The lack of a 2-3 year option was an oversight, I meant to list it but was quibbling over the short options reflecting my own biases that he won't serve especially long.

In order of likelihood:

1) Trump doesn't want to do the work for more than 4 years, so doesn't run for re-election.
2) Trump doesn't want to do the work for more than 4 years, but his ego pushes him to run again and he loses.
3) Trump doesn't want to do the work for more than 4 years, but his ego pushes him to run again and he wins.

I only have 2 ahead of 3 now because I think he'll likely face a stronger primary challenge than any incumbent has in a long time (since Carter 80 at least).
