Don't know about Florida, but growing up in the Pacific Northwest "BM" meant something different.

I can't compare it to PureSim, but it doesn't cut the muster for me as far as a serious baseball sim. The career trajectories are off base. It's been fun for me when I want a quick 30 minute game here or there which I've used it for several times in the last week since buying it.

you'll notice on that thread this question is not answered as far as I can tell. Instead it talks a lot about the + and - of OOTP.

Baseball Mogul is the Diner Dash of baseball sims. It can be fun, even addicting, but at the end of the day, you just spent good gaming time playing Diner Dash.

i like Diner Dash but only for diner dashing not for my baseball simming. I'm reliving the Tigers '80 run to the championship. Oh the glorious moustaches.
