WECWF Premier

Pyro opens up the show as Vince McMahon's music hits and he makes his way towards the ring.

VM: Ladies and gentlemen, I have finally done it. I've taken out my competition and eliminated all the major wrestling promotions with just a signature on a check. Sure I had to make some concessions with Ted Turner, but after he's sees my results I'll get a major return on my purchase and then some. As the owner of the WECWF I get final say on everything, but I'd like to introduce to you all the new General Manager of the WECWF Mr. Eric Bishoff!!!

EB: Thank you Mr. McMahon. Well I'm sure all the wrestlers in the back are wondering what the hell is going on...well you are about to find out. First off all the current or should I say former champions of the WWF, WCW and ECW, congratulations you will be getting a shot to hold some gold tonight. To everyone else...you will too. We are going to crown some champions, but not tonight at the first PPV New Year's Revolution Souled Out and this is how it's going to work. The three former champions will automatically advance to the main event for their title or titles in a four corners match against the winners tonight. So to Shawn Michaels, Sting, Shane Douglas, Billy Gunn, Jesse James, Rick and Scott Steiner, Chris Candidto, Lance Storm, Rocky Mavia, Taka Michinoku, Diamond Dallas Page, Ultimo Dragon and Taz you get the night off....the rest of you in the back better get your gear on it's time to fight.

And with that both Vince McMahon and Eric Bishoff go to the back.

We saw two cruiserweight matches that carried over from the battle royal and neither match disappointed the fans.

The newly repackaged Mike Rotundo, from Michael Wallstreet, saw action against Owen Hart as they battled to a time limit draw. As a result Owen Hart vs Mike Rotundo will be added to the New Year's Revolution Souled Out
PPV card.

Hiroyoshi Tenzan who survived the first wave of roster cuts is on the edge of beign released due to his no showing his match vs. Bam Bam Bigelow.

Finally, team WCW defeated team WWF in the main event as Sting pinned Taka Michinoku to get the victory for his team.

on Smackdown the Thunder we'll see

Brian Lee (Chainz) take on Bryan Clark (Wrath) in a battle of big men. Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson battle Bart Gunn & Bob Holly and in the main event Tommy Dreamer will try and take down The Giant.
