These second halves are huge. Niners trying to keep season alive and Vikings trying to help out their cause as well.

What a bullshit call in Seattle.

Absolutely changes this game if they go on to score a TD.

Lead with the helmet and it will be called. Pretty good call.

Yes. We know you hate the Niners. Thanks for the input.

Odds were very, very slim they would go and score a TD if only down 6 without Gore and Hyde. But that call turned the game into a two score game and all but sealed it up.

Why is everyone loving Mariota so much? I mean, he's put up great numbers but he's a system QB. With all the hype these last few years surrounding these products of no-huddle spread/read option offenses, the NFL production has been sour. All the top QBs are still pro-style at college, how many of these guys like Manziel, Griffin, etc do we have to sit through before we realize they haven't "changed the game" as hyped.

I hope the Jets come to their senses and trade down while signing a QB in FA. Draft Cooper or some RB to get some offense, or perhaps some secondary help. But please not another overhyped read-option guy.

I definitely think that will happen-I mean their QB's are Smith and Vick-they need to start over with a new coaching staff and a GM.

Niners had 67 yards in the second half. I don't think those 4 points really mattered. I think the call was bs (I'm a Seattle fan, btw), but I can see why it was called. If you lead with the helmet, even though it wasn't really the crown, and they probably call that more often than not. Not sure what the guy is supposed to do in that situation. His head was up, and he hit him square in the chest. But that's what the NFL has evolved toward...can't hit the QB in the pocket too hard, even though he has pads on, too. But, I honestly don't think those 4 points mattered in the end, and I'm glad for that.

God I hope not. The wY that kid started out with his selfies and that crap before even taking a snap is all I needed to see to say done. He does not have the skills of a leader that is obvious. If the Titans are line for Mariotta or whoever is the next top QB Wisenhunt would be an idiot not to pick him!

My first thought in reading this headline was that Rex Ryan finally had enough.

Geno Smith gets punched in the face; melee erupts between Jets and Titans

Stay classy New York.

I guess the most interesting part about the Philadelphia Eagles is that when they are playing and they are up 21-7 or down 21-7 in the first half, all you really know is that the game is far from over.

Nice series of events, force the Cowboys to lose a challenge by hustling down field and then get the score. We now have a game.

Not even this long TD pass will trick me. I am wise to your ways. You will lure me in with your heroics only to make the inevitable eventual crash that much more painful.

Nope. Not me. Not going to happen.

Outside of Tomlin being on the field during a kickoff return, and interfering with the return man, I cannot think of a time I've seen that called.

In this case, it was a player on the field who was out of the play who the ref didn't see while he was chasing 30 yards behind. That seems a smidge different in terms of impact on the outcome of a play.

No, it was a player that wasn't on the field for the play that was walking out to watch the play.

Great win for the Cowboys. That was the kind of game they'd lose over the past few years.

Lions win next week, and they are in the playoffs. Philly needs the Lions to lose twice. I'm not sure a possible Arizona vs. the NFC South is a remotely safe bet.

Philly's way in is Dallas losing to Indy while winning its two remaining games against NYG/WAS, I'm pretty sure.
