If it makes you feel better, but for a lucky roll, I would've been too dead to enjoy them.

If anyone is interested in buying or trading for the ring / gloves / ointment please let me know. The ring would probably be quite useful for folks that aren't too good at combat since you could face monsters like the cave weasel or bats (for example) and win without even taking a point of damage. The gloves look like they'd be great for a scout.

okay that's fine DT, want my protectors fully healthy. I'm not planning on submitting a morning action at the moment-the room has been throughly searched already, and that's the only option available to me. So if you have a morning action you need to do Packer, I will pick one, otherwise its up to you team leader who picks

In case you come online, to the left of the exit in your room that leads to the darker bricks, there's a room with leprechauns that you can insult and attack in case you want to move somewhere with a guaranteed combat. Just so you know though, they start their attacks with a magic missile that does 4-5 damage and though they are fragile they are tough to hit. If you can handle that, you could probably get to level 2 from beating one.

I caught that from your previous posts. I'm definitely not ready for level 2, and I'm not going back to starting rooms, either.

I might throw the dart, try to hit the first one in the forehead and try to freak out the rest of them with my prowess.

Yeah, it's asking a lot, I know.

I'm worried about still being +1 to hit and -1 to hit, but I've got to do what I've got to do. I can't sit around hiding out and missing out on combat opportunities. I do have the ring of protection, so hopefully that affords me some leeway.

I've got to take a chance. I just might be the last one around that's level 1.

I'll search the room of the 4 horned monster today. Hopefully I'm come across the scroll of GAIN 3 LEVELS...but I'm not expecting it.
