The annoying thing about that jump to conclusions mat is that they don't misspell "lose one turn" as "loose one turn" like they do in the movie. And we have one of those -- I got an Office Space kit from thinkgeek as a birthday present for lurker. I don't think she uses the mat or the flair, but she keeps pens in her initech mug, and I think she has her "Is this good for the company?" banner somewhere.

I don't think I did one thing wrong and would do it again. I made the same point in AIM that I made in the thread, there was nothing in those conversations that wasn't readily available in the game thread.

Furthermore, I didn't use my AIM conversation as any method to alter gameplay, I mearly used it to illustrate my point that I was not bullying anyone and others agree with me. I see no way how this has an effect on anything that happens in the game.

I have always taken the integrity of the game very seriously and those who I have regular conversations with cam attest to that.

If people felt I crossed a line I am sorry they think that, but I am not going to apologize for something I didn't think was wrong. I will however out of respect for other players remove myself from the game.

I PMed Eaglefan and asked him to find a replacement. If he can't or it takes time I will follow along and cast my vote as I see fit and leave discussion to others.

Clarification: Any scan results which the seer may receive are only meant to indicate worker or Insider. Anything else is just "fluff" for the story.

I would rather not replace Lathum. As much fun as I personally have trying to get him stirred up when I am in a game with him I also feel that he has integrity within the game. He has never once given me or anyone else in the forum that I am aware of a reason to believe anything less.

I would hope that we can get past the earlier "bullying" situation. I think he was being aggressive but that is just his play at times.

I will try to speak with Lathum offline, email or PM's, to see where this actually ends but would like to have him remain in the game if he feels comfortable enough doing so.

To me the issue isn't how I played yesterday, it's the fact I asked a few people if they felt I was being a bully outside the game.

While I don't even remotly see how that effects gameplay or crosses a line, Abe and Dubb do. Out of respect for them I am asking to be replaced.

I think it would be best to ignore the brutal angle at this point. It sounds like it probably was just a mistake on Clap's part and we don't want the Insiders taking advantage of that.

I think the Lathum thing is nothing - the no discussion outside of the game thing is basically on your honour anyways. So to actually bring it up in game tells me that nothing against the intent of that rule happened.

I've been thinking on that clap and trying to look over the thread and voting records. I have some slight suspicions but nothing too great. I think the folks who voted to lynch you are a good place to start. That includes me, which is fine. But also includes Pass, Danny, Lerriuqs and Abe. I would throw barkeep in there too. It seems likely there's a wolf among that crowd, and some of them have made me suspicious with slightly incendiary talk.
