Ugh. No winners today for NC State. Then again, it looks like they were the lower seed in all the matchups, so I can always look at it as a bit of deadwood clearing.
 State's now 21-23 in all first round pairings so far and have advanced 19 others on a bye, so 40 teams will be in round two so far. (Yes, I'm keeping up in some detail with how State's doing. Mostly, it's just a basic text file that lists who's in and who's out and I just search on "Carolina St" since there is no SC State to muddle things.) |

The Pack (by my estimation) went 36-32 with another 33 that got bye'd into round two, so 69 still left standing. Interestingly, just about every team since 1957 has advanced except 1960, 1964, 1983, 1985 (two of the dreadful Tom Reed teams), and 2006 (this year's swan-dive-off-a-cliff offering).
Looking forward to the resumption of this. |

Priorities and all that, especially because she has suffered through hyperemesis with both previous pregnancies.
