They need to bring in a storyteller to save this. They've established "wasteland' pretty well. But I'm just over the whole "surprise twist character allegiance" thing that they've done 2weeks in a row.
And nice ripoff of Breaking Bad season 3 finale. I'd probably kill off the main baddie, the girl, the nerd and have Gus Fring take the controls. |

I thought the pendants were a fail safe created by the team in case the weapon was deployed in a large scale. Randall def has the device Last edited by stevew : 11-21-2012 at 03:08 PM. |

I though they were developed to let "our" side have the advantage. Give one to all your pilots and tank commanders then zap the battle field.

I gave up on this show when they explained how they made a device that will shut down electrical signals, then demoed it in an isolated chamber. Yet somehow the guy they were demonstrating on didn't just keel over when every single electrical signal in his body shut down. Have they explained how it shuts down everything EXCEPT living nervous systems yet?
Plus just not finding any characters I cared one whit about.

I'm still watching. LOL that the chopper would just instantly work perfectly. I hope the show will kill off everyone but the nurse from FNL and Billy Burke and start over, but i doubt the chopper will do that. There's just something so off about the main girl character. She looks unsettling or something. |

I loved that: (1) It worked first time (2) The pilots were still able to fly it perfectly (considering this is what 15+ years on in time from the last time they flew). (3) They had usable fuel for the helicopter available - bearing in mind that those things EAT fuel for breakfast and I expect require fairly specialised fuel. (4) Even given the opportunity for 'power' you'd expect them to have to charge the batteries etc. as they'd be flat after being idle for 15 years surely. (what can I say I think too much ) |

Solid enough return. I won't pretend that this show is great, cause it's not. I think there's a few things that do work pretty well though. I really like Giancarlo as the evil baddie and the guy from Twilight is pretty solid as well. Saracin's jump off from FNL is an interesting character as well.

Still watching. I'm not sure if I'll watch next season, but I've invested enough in it that I'm hanging on this season. It was a decent return I thought. |

I haven't seen the finale, but I've been watching this season out of curiosity to see where it goes. I thought the show was a cool concept - and face it, I probably got pulled in by the exterior shot of Wrigley Field in the opener - but I HATE HATE HATE lazy writing, and the whole nano-technology concept is just lazy writing and a lazy writer's way to explain themselves out of tricky situations. When they healed Elizabeth Mitchell's leg - THAT was the end of the show's last shred of integrity.

Solid first episode, really liked the twist of killing? a main character. They set up some cool story lines for the season

You know, this is never going to be a great show but they did an appropriate amount of retconning and I enjoy this season more. Still hung up on the Aaron has walked 3000miles in the past 12 or so months and is still fat thing.
New episodes don't pile up on my DVR anyways Last edited by stevew : 01-18-2014 at 01:30 PM. |

Apparently they're providing closure in a 4 part comic.
