Omerta 2.2 start tomorrow.

Should be an interesting game this time, seeing as how everyone will be starting fresh. Perhaps there may be a FOFC crime family in this version.

Just listen to Track 5 of Ashes of the Wake and save yourself the hundreds of hours.

Note to all:

Firstly apologies for the lack of official news on this subject.

Omerta 2.2 will be open for registration on the 10th June at noon omerta time.

Seems the 3rd was being touted as the date, but following much heated debate in omerta towers this is not the case.

I am sure that you all understand that we would like to open to as clean a version as possible and this date will allow us plenty of time to ensure that to the best of our ability.
I would like to thank you all for that understanding in advance.

If you would like to discuss this further please feel free to join #help on the irc server.

Kind Regards
Omerta

Sounds cool. I've never looked at it before, but since everything is starting over, maybe I'll check it out.

Someone would have to really convince me to take another shot at this. I started playing Dark Throne, and I like it for a number of reasons.

I don't have to click every 90 seconds, or race for bullets every hour or so. I don't have to wonder about my character dies. Dark Throne is a bit more relaxing in that matter.

Turns come up every half hour, and you gradually build your army up. You gain levels by attacking others (usually for gold) around your level. Higher levels guys can't whack you, lower guys can't ping you. I like that part too.

Someone hits me, I make darn sure I hit back. An attack doesn't kill a character either, it just sets them back (loss of gold, maybe a defender or miner).

Hey guys, there is a poll in the family website. Please vote. Also, we are planning a meeting in the chatroom at 11 pm CST Saturday night. We're going to be discussing our strategy for the restart. Please be there. If you're not, we'll send Boss after you with some of his goons.

Pretty much what he said -- hell, I dunno from one minute to the next what's going on around here, no way I can even guess about midnight tomorrow.

You have to start this thing at midnight? WTF? First you have to shoot the bottle 100,000 times, now you have to play all night?

no, we're just meeting in the fofc chatroom to discuss some things. If you can stop by earlier, that would work as well. We just want to hear everybody's opinion.

Haven't heard anything different. Only thing different I've heard is that the release might be 3 hours late, but that's a rumor, and the guy I heard it from also said it was a rumor. So feel free to pass it along
