I guess nobody is interested to know that the city I live looks like this:
http://www.terraserver.com/imagery/i...r_id=150&t=pan North east of the water, that's Maassluis. Despite being a 12-year old picture, there hasn't changed much since then, except that we added colors to the city...

This is a cool pic of my neighborhood, the big body of water is Lake Michigan, and you can also see Wrigley Field too. |

Here's stately Kodos Manor.
http://www.terraserver.com/imagery/i...rovider_id=305 Here's where I grew up: http://www.terraserver.com/imagery/i...rovider_id=300 That's not a highway you see to the north- it's Clinton's Ditch - the famous New York State "Barge" Canal. You can see Fairport High School (the whitish cluster of buildings to the left), and the track I spent a lot of time running on in my younger days. Last edited by Kodos : 06-14-2004 at 02:29 PM. |

Here's me:
http://www.terraserver.com/imagery/i...rovider_id=320 Not surprisingly, my whole town fits easily in the frame. You'll also notice something to the bottom-left that looks like a golf course. It's not. It's a developement that has yet to put the houses in. Between that and my town is what we call "the dredge". Just south of the dredge is where the really poor people live. It floods when it rains. To the right is an oil refinery (that's actually twice the size of my town). Just to the right, you'll see where the roads kind of "pinch", and then expand back out. That pinch is the end of my town. |

I live in the brown part on the left hand side. This picture was taken right when my neighborhood was first being built... Thus, the brown. Last edited by Hawglaw : 06-14-2004 at 05:54 PM. |

I would love a subscription to this site, just because I think it would be very, very cool. I guess I should buy one, then, huh?
