RACE #1 - ELITE SERIES - DAYTONA 500

Derek Jordan's car broke a camshaft with 2 laps to go while leading the race. This brought out a final caution and Yukko took the lead and the win under caution.

RACE #1 - AAA SERIES - DAYTONA 250

Clay Lynn and Vance Duke found themselves ahead of the rest of the drivers in the field as the race came down to the end and Clay was able to hold off Vance for the win.

Some good showings for Team Skynet-Nostromo, and some bad luck with mechanical issues.

Now THAT was a great start to a new series for Dixieland!

7/11 & 2/7 finishes with all cars running! Gotta love those cars!

STANDINGS #1 - YOUNG GUNS SERIES - DAYTONA 200

The first race of the Young Guns Series turned into a two car battle with Deacon Palmer holding off Daisy Duke for the win.

RACE #2 - ELITE SERIES - PENNZOIL 400 - LAS VEGAS

We had a great battle in this one as A.T. Tappman was barely able to hold off a strong challenge from Mustafa Henderson down the stretch to take home the win. Henderson was 2nd, followed by Bo Duke, Cannon Pace and Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Hard to be disappointed in these first two races from The Syndicate's point of view.

What an amazing start to the season for Clay Lynn, as he held off a strong challenge from Nick Mason and won his second straight race to start the 2019 season. He looks like a promising future Elite Series driver.

Absolutely unreal. Clay Lynn does it again. This time he takes the lead with 18 laps left and holds off Chad Scallan for his 3rd straight win. Scallan picked up his 3rd straight top 5 to start the year as well. Lynn and Scallan look like sure thing future stars.

The team is sitting #3, #2, and #1 after 3 races. It's early, but no complaints!

RACE #4 - ELITE SERIES - FOOD CITY 500 - BRISTOL

Derek Jordan led 290 laps and dominated the latter stages of the race today at Bristol to take the victory. He was followed by polesitter Bo Duke, Chris Snow, Billy Bushinhimer and John Yossarian.

The race started out completely unlike any normal Bristol race, as the first 195 laps went caution free which allowed all but a handful of drivers to be lapped. A.T. Tappman had a strong car for a while before his gearbox failed and Richard Patrick led 119 laps before his car faded and he finished 13th.

Controversy surrounded Chris Snow today however, despite the 3rd place finish as two drivers, Sigourney Weaver and Ariel Pryde were spun out by Snow's aggressive driving.

Those in the AAA series, just concede the title to Clay Lynn now, no sense putting yourself through the humiliation of getting beat every race.

Too bad the rest of my drivers aren't pulling their weight.

The win streak is over for Clay Lynn, but he still showed he can race on any type of track as he finished 5th. But the day belonged to Michael Biehn as he led the race's final 64 laps to take win.

Bjorn Jenssen took over the lead after the race's early dominant driver, Cassandra Snow began to falter and Jenssen didn't look back as he took home the victory.

RACE #5 ELITE SERIES - GEICO 500

There's really no other way to put this, Richard Patrick stole the victory today. Fuel mileage was the story today as two drivers, Richard Patrick and Tarn Adams tried to stretch their fuel as far as they possibly could while the rest pitted. They traded the lead over the race's final 11 laps while the rest of the field pitted, but on the final lap, Tarn Adams ran out of fuel in turn 1 and Richard Patrick was able to make it to the finish line as the winner of the Geico 500.

The dominating trio of Clay Lynn, Chad Scallan and Michael Biehn were limited today by the massive superspeedway in Talladega. The day's dominant driver was Keegan Snow and he was able to hold off Charlie Jacks and Pat Orr for the victory.

17 of the 24 drivers led laps and we had 32 lead changes in only 76 laps. But at the end, Daisy Duke was able to put her car in the front and take the win.

Kind of a disappointing result for the boys in the main race. We should have done better than that. Having said that, another win for the kids keeps us at the top of the heap.

Proud of the guys in the feature race this time out, Adams taking the risk and going for the win, as well as Williamson sneaking in as best of the rest to pick up his first Top 5. Other than that it has been a disappointing season so far for these two.

Obviously finishing outside the Top 10 for the first time in the AAA series is not ideal, but Scallan still managed to pick up some valuable points and close the gap to the championship lead. Carpenter will be disappointed with that retirement, as he has had an alright season so far.

Our two teens in the Young Guns series with a less than desirable race, both finishing outside the Top 10, with only Johnson's second pole this season coming as a consolation. With the way their seasons are shaping up, it may be a few years before we see anything significant out of either driver.
