Game Slows Down after many seasons

Does anybody else have this issue? Simming weeks and especially Free Agency takes forever now that I am 100 years into a sim (actually started much earlier on, probably 50 years in). Is there a solution to this?

As for the issue, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game. It help, a little.

Old machine? New machine? I don't play single player, but stories from others around here showed that after 200+ seasons, things get extremely slow.

Machine is about 3 years old, so that shouldn't be an issue. I guess it is something I have to live with. Actually, I created a new career and had my first ever 19-0 season so it all worked out.

the game seems to use more and more resources as the number of seasons increase. curious what is your RAM and free hard disk space?
