Deacon was the man when I first started watching football. He and Roman Gabriel were my favorite players. Watching him envelop an opposing QB was so sweet. The man was quick, fast, and nasty.

I remember when he taught Peter Brady that it's cool to be in the school glee club. Those Brady kids got an unusual amount of life advice from famous athletes, they were just always randomly stopping by the house to teach them something. Of course the best was Don Drysdale stopping by and indirectly encouraging Greg to drop out of school, stop doing his chores, and focus on baseball.
