At this point, I want Oklahoma to beat LSU just to shut up this Joe Burrow talk. This isn't a walk-on that became a starter and then won the Heisman. He had a scholarship to Ohio St. and then transferred to LSU because he was (rightfully at the time) buried on the depth chart. This isn't the LSU Rudy story.

I am a ND fan my whole life especially growing up and I even admit they are a joke until they join a big 5 conference .

Offensive stats look awesome when you play teams that dont play defense.

Why is that? Becoming a full member of the ACC would have made their schedule easier this year.

Also not sure how beating a team 33-9 means they are a joke.

I preferred the system where winning your conference was the main goal and the end result was a lot of champions. The bowls gave bragging rights, but you had a successful season if you won the conference.

Would have been Ohio State, as the BCS used equal parts two voter polls and one computer rating. Ohio State was #2 in both current polls, #1 in composite computer. tOSU would have been closer to overtaking LSU for #1 than Clemson would have been to being #2.

I think there should be a two-tiered system for targeting (similar to flagrant 1/flagrant 2), with the first tier being for hits like that which aren't really malicious, and don't result in an ejection. But it should still probably be a 15 yard penalty

Georgia is going to be VERY short handed, so unless Baylor is in equally bad shape then it could be a mismatch.

Teams do a lot of shady crap with concussions. There's no good reason for Higgins being out a half and then coming back for the second half when Clemson is down.

Hopefully, Oklahoma is not allowed in the playoffs again until they can get a top 50 defense. What a joke of a "playoff" game.

Clemson's depth is getting the best of Ohio State as this game continues. Ohio State needs a big play to change momentum or Clemson could roll this second half.
