Amazing driving from Wheely McStephens. He is back to 7th after restarting 25th in only 10 laps. Ginsberg's damage is definitely hurting his car but as long as the cars stayed grouped up he can race with them. McStephens needs a caution to get back up front and have a shot. Nile Kinnick is your current leader.

On lap 220, Nielsen is 2nd, Ginsberg 4th, McStephens 7th.

Nielsen 1205
Ginsberg 1200
McStephens 1194

Lap 230, Nielsen is 3rd, Ginsberg 5th, McStephens 8th. Ginsberg's damage seems to be too much to overcome and he has fallen 4 seconds back of Nielsen.

Nielsen 1204
Ginsberg 1199
McStephens 1193

Yellow flag on lap 237. This should bring about the final pit stops and will put McStephens closer to the front. If Ginsberg can't get his car up to speed he could fall off greatly here.

That didn't work out too well for Nielsen or McStephens. Terrible pit stops puts Nielsen in 7th and McStephens in 22nd. Ginsberg is 5th as we restart on lap 241.

Nielsen 1200
Ginsberg 1199
McStephens 1179

It's looking like Nielsen again. He is 3rd, Ginsberg is 10th. McStephens doesn't have the magic on this restart and is 30th. Just a terrible final part of the race for McStephens.

Rob Nielsen takes the lead with 18 laps left. Hana Ginsberg is 2nd. Any chance Hana takes out Nielsen?

Wow. It might actually happen. Can Nielsen hold on in these final laps?

Race #15 of 15 - Ford 400 Results

The last few laps ended up being a coronation as Rob Nielsen cruised to the victory in the Ford 400 and is your FOFC Season 1 champion. Early on it was a battle between Nielsen, David Ginsberg and Wheely McStephens. McStephens led some laps early on and ran in the top 3 most of the time until his car began to fade. He had a chance to get back up front after the day's final caution flag but a bad pit stop ruined his day. On the second to last caution David Ginsberg was involved in a pit road incident with Dicky Woodhouse. His car suffered too much damage to be competitive and fell to a 26th place finish. Without the damage would he have given Nielsen a run for the win?

Looked like the car was strong, but ultimately we were let down in the end. Totally solid season though.

6th place is a solid points standings finish for Mustafa. Billy definitely has room for improvement after finishing 19th though.

Inconsistency was the name of the game for Stroker Ace - despite two poles, his average start position was 21st. Few drivers had a better differential between average start and average finish position, though.

Bo Danville had more top 5 finishes than all but 5 drivers, yet managed to finish in 32nd place. He's probably going back to the drawing board when it comes to stats.

Fun season! Wheely was consistent on the year, but always faded towards the end of the races. I gotta figure that one out. Still, tied for 2nd is nothing to complain about.

Congrats to Rob on the being the champ.

Great fun.
Hawk was an interesting. Slow start, great middle, slow finish to the playoffs. A win too late. And a great last race.
Up and down.

Kinnick was terrible.

Congrats to Nielson

If we didn't have the playoff system and just ran 15 races, Hawk would have finished 5th. He's definitely one to watch out for next year.

Probably going with the same format for the next season. I might be switching out one or two tracks though that I wasn't too happy with how they worked.
