FOF4: Player suspension question

I was wondering if anyone had a player suspended for the season. I just did. He instigated a brawl at a party and was suspended for the entire year for violating the Front Office anti-violence policy. Now, my problem. I just signed him to a 4 year/$32 million or something like that. He is making $4 million salary and $2 million bonus money for a $6 million cap hit. Does all that money count this season against the cap? Since he isn't playing, shouldn't his salary not get paid? I understand that the bonus is already paid. Also, can I sign another player to my 53 man roster? Thanks.

I have had this happen to me as well. I dont recall if his salary counted against the cap. I think it did. If you look in the help index it should tell you the stipulations of when a player gets suspended. My guy got busted for fighting as well. I saw a guy suspeded for smoking, because it violates the leagues anti tobacco policy. HA!
