Number 3000 for Garland
Thursday, October 13th, 2107: What a day for Ethan Garland. The 37-year-old Baltimore first baseman reached the 3000-hit mark today and the Gothams whipped the Napa Valley Winemakers 6-1.

Garland told reporters, "It's good to finally get it. The closer you get to 3000, the harder it is to get there. Now the pressure is off and I can go back to just playing ball."

He went 1 for 3 in the game to reach the milestone.

His career stats show that Garland has batted .337 and connected for 335 home runs.

we all had negatives. What a great race though. By the way two pitch starters are my thing now. They've performed great for me.

Techincally Sato is a rookie this year. He may have gotten a few at bats the last two years but this year I finally gave him the starting 1b job.

I have to ask. Do the Millers even have a manager? 3 teams with 100+ wins in our division. That's just impossible.

I just checked, and yes, the 2107 have set the all-time FOOL loss mark with 132 losses. They lose 5 more games then the 2049 Ann Arbor Winged Lingerines.

The Millers only had a 18 player active roster, but alot of talent in the system if developed right.

31 year old starting pitcher Ashton Marshall finished 3-32, with an era of 7.05(better era then my #5 ). That's not a record though. In 2042, Ricardo Salazar went 5-37.

Good luck to the playoff teams tommorow night, and thanks Alan as always

It doesn't show up in game, but the 1984 Wyoming Buffalo Soldiers lost 135 games which I believe is the all time record.

What a tease that 17-8 April. I'm kind of glad I tanked 'cause I would be pretty upset if I won 100 games and did not make the playoffs

The Millers have a manager I struck out on EVERY free agent guy I bid for and we cleaned house after having 6 straight playoff appearances which in turn depleted my farm system so had to retool and I think I did a decent job of reloading the farm.

Yeah, I'd rather it not have been me on the outside looking in though Good luck to both you and Apex in the playoffs. This has to be a record in FOOL, if not for 100 win teams, possibly also for all three of our teams having a better record than any team in the RL.
