Chicago went from 5 games back on July 1st to 12 games in front on September first to the tune of 39-9 over 2 months!

Also if hitting .306 with 33 HR and 118 RBI is no effort I'd hate to see what Lee would do if he cared!

Good luck all except for Chicago of course....

I think the point is that Lee hit .353/39/134 in his contract renewal year and then signed to a huge contract before coming back to earth this year His OPS+ last year was 36 points higher!

Wow, that was a great season. Congrats to the playoff teams!

I promise I will go back to being vigilant about these morning sims once I go back to work next week. Sorry I've been such a slacker!

And will someone please welcome Afino besides me so I a) don't have to give a lecture on good manners and b) you don't make us look bad!

Hi Afino welcome to the league.

Thank you, Dan!

We did a field trip to a place where they have an old school house and the actor who was playing the role of the teacher made ME wear the dunce cap. And when we got back to school and I made my kids write about the experience (because I'm mean like that) that was the only part of the trip that they could manage to recall.

I'll spare you that bit of humiliation...THIS TIME.

Alan has to quit giving me A ratings......My team does terrible when he does that........Darn you Alan

Welcome to the league Afino. Glad to have you along for this strange voyage.

Teach if the kids remember you from that trip whether its funny or embarrassing or whatnot.......be happy they have a memory where you stand out. It means you are doing something right when the kids remember you from a field trip they took.

You're totally right ken! Pretty much every day in the life of a teacher is about standing up in front of a group of people and making an idiot out of yourself in hopes that it helps them remember the important stuff.

Afino! Welcome to the league Feel free to let us know if you have any questions.

Congratulations to those of you that made the playoffs. I'm a little disappointed in Waikiki's record, but hopefully some of my young players still managed to develop.
