Home Run Inn has cheese on it the likes of which no other frozen pizza can compare to.

Tony's is a solo pizza, but usually the price is right and the sauce is a major plus in my opinion.

Thirdly, Totinos pizza ROLLS. To hell with the frozen pizzas, give me the rolls all damn day.

If you ever had a Schwan's frozen pizza, you'd never go back to anything in the grocery store. They own Redbaron, Tony's, and Freschetta's, but the ones sold off the truck are much, much better.

I decided to let the Totino's people know about this thread mainly because, I too, love Totino's and it's a staple food for me. They responded.

Thanks to this thread my wife and I had our first Home Run Inn Pizza tonight.

I was very impressed with the cheese and the flavor. I never knew HRI pizza existed.

The pepperoni on it is very spicy too which I like.

Thread necromancy

I had a Screamin' Sicilian Mambo Italiano pizza today. For a frozen pizza, it was right up there with Home Run Inn.

I generally find that all frozen pizzas need a little fresh moz and my own spice combo added to the them.

I'll 55th the love for Totinos as well.

Barring all that, DiGiorno, Fruschetta and then Ellios (although this is more of a childhood fondness thing than a quality thing).

Best frozen pizza I've ever had was actually a DiGiornos painstakingly prepared by Sovereignstar. He made me pre heat the oven, he made me cook it the exact amount of time, then he made me wait 3 minutes before slicing it, and it was awesome. Then one of my dickhead friends stole my 2nd slice.

I can't remember the last time I bought frozen pizza.

Those Mama Celeste pizza for 1 aren't terrible tho, especially when they are on sale.

Looking back at this thread is great. I can now get the St. Louis cheese I like so much on Amazon, shipped directly to me. My wife makes our crust. We usually use either Montgomery Inn BBQ sauce, or my wife's homemade. Add BBQ Chicken, and no 10 hour round trip drive and it makes life much easier.

I loved the Stouffer's french bread pizzas in my younger days, but I haven't had one in ages. No love for them, or do they not even make them any more?

Curious. With 2 working parents, I grew up on Schwan's back in the early 80s. But the one thing I would not, could not eat, were the disgusting frozen pizzas. Discs of pure, frozen vomit packaged as pizza. I would assume they've upgraded, as I haven't eaten anything but ice cream from Schwan's in over 20 years.
