Your input needed for some fun with DDS:PB 2018
As we prepare to launch DDS:PB 2018 in the coming weeks I thought it would be fun to use the new Tournament Maker feature in the game to run a tournament to decide the greatest champion of the post-merger era.
If you've got a few minutes I would love your votes for who should be in - whether you want to list 16 teams or just a couple. To put in your two cents go to • View topic - Help us determine the greatest champion! And if you're looking for info on the new game here's a blog post talking about the new features and a link to the game trailer What's New For DDS: Pro Basketball 2018 - Wolverine Studios Draft Day Sports: Pro Basketball 2018 - YouTube Thanks everyone! |

Nice, an '86 Laker / '85 Celtic series on tap for the semi's if the brackets hold.

Dola..
I downloaded the demo and will give it a go today. I don't follow the NBA so I'm just doing a fictional universe taking over the Golden State Spartans. We have a stud 20 year old C who looks to be our franchise player. One thing I love so far is the UI.. well done Gary!!! Being able to go directly to my D-league team from my roster is great! I remember having to hunt that down in earlier versions. Last edited by MizzouRah : 11-23-2017 at 10:48 AM. |

I do follow NBA. Disappointed there is no real player roster out.

We made the decision to open up the rosters as an additional modded thing going forward so that more people could have a say in them.
What you want to do is go to our mods forum and look in the threads for Roster Template Files and Historical Mod File. Download those, unzip them in the places it tells you to and then choose "custom" when starting a new league and select the roster file you want to use. We provided two - they're the same thing just different ways of making a roster file. If you need help just let me know over at the Wolverine board. I know its an extra step to get the rosters in the game but the benefits (once everyone is used to it) will far outweigh things in the end. People will be able to update the rosters if they think players should be better/worse or they can add in new rookies and such when its time for the draft. • View forum - DDS: Pro Basketball 2018 Mods Last edited by Gary Gorski : 11-24-2017 at 03:31 PM. |

This is the first text sim that I actually go the fictional route since I don't know a ton about the NBA.
Now to learn about bird years and what not. |

NBA Salary Cap FAQ That explains how the NBA works in great detail - DDS:PB does not go to that level but the main ideas work the same so that is a great resource for understanding what the items are |

This isn't about me, it is about your arrogant stupidity. Why do lie about the game? Does it make you feel good to disparage a fine product? Why do you even post here? Your deliberate lies add nothing to the discussions.

Not lying you ignorant moron. Just did not know he changed the way to get the current season. I've played more of his games than you undoubtedly. Your comment was what was stupid. You're just some weak little dork sitting behind a computer trying to bully people online. So sad for you, idiot.
