Sergio Romo is only 37 years old. I say only because if you asked me last week, I would have said he was retired and in his forties.

ugh. Reds come out with back to back singles to put a guy on 1st and 3rd no one out and fail to score. Giving Bauer a lead before he even takes the hill would have been huge.

Hitting woes rearing its head early

Something I noticed, so I'll share.

The Braves 28 man post-season roster includes: Sandoval, Culberson, Pache, and(3rd catcher) Contreras.

Between them, they have 4 major league ABs in the past month.

Might mean nothing, might mean something, but it sure seems like a bit of a risk.

Reds are doing their best to show my son all the wrong things to do on the base paths.

Bauer deserved much better, he pitched lights out today and as seems to be the norm this season, gets no support.

He is the reason I was giddy about my 20-1 to win the NL and 40-1 to win the WS. Did exactly what I needed him to do and they are still going to lose. So tilting.

More shitty base running. This time by the Padres. I did feel a bit triggered though. All I could hear was the manager screaming "Did you send him?!, COACH DID SEND HIM?!"

Argh, typical Padres/Cardinals playoff frustration.

They put the tarp on the field. no rain for 40 minutes, pulled the tarp after it started raining, began the game, then called a delay and brought the tarp back out in the bottom of the first. Total shitshow when the radar clearly showed the line of storms.

The Reds are going to lose a 2 games series where literally if they scored 2 runs at the right time they would win.

Not 2 MORE runs, 2 runs period.

Padres should throw the kitchen sink at Trevor Bauer in the offseason. Him, Lament, and a healthy Clevinger plus that lineup would be nasty.

Dear ABC, you don’t need to show the Bartman play. The mans life was ruined. Do we really need to replay it? Chipper with a nice save at least by saying majority of Americans would have done the same thing.

That would probably be the smart move. You generally don't sign with Scott Boras to simply sign an extension.

How about that. The Padres finally broke the post season curse of being eliminated by the Cardinals.

I'd rather play the Padres because I think it'll be one hell of a series, we're rivals, and fuck the Cardinals.

If only the Cardinals had Yogi Berra. A lot of those rings would have been in St. Louis.

And he was a St. Louis guy. Used to practice rugby at Berra park on the Hill. He grew up across the street from Joe Garagiola.

What a couple guys from a neighborhood.
