Dark Cloud gave me the permission to set up StatsLab for FOOL-H. Since it is starting a few years into it, we are missing some of the better break down stats for the first few seasons, but it has the career numbers and will keep track from here on out.

I'll keep it updated after each sim is run. You can use it for more in depth statistical information as well as player development histories.

You can get to it via the FOOL WEBSITE link under FOOL-H for StatsLab

Edit: I had to manually rewrite a ton of web redirects to point from Stats Lab to the various web directories on Dark Cloud's server. So if you encounter any broken links, please let me know!

I think he meant he mixed up his teams. He thought he was the Clowns but then he was someone else.

More to this story....

I had a few really good guys hit arbitration this past sim. I remember being on the screen and handling them, but not exporting. So, when I saw the results and didn't see Indianapolis, I started to freak because these players are the heart and soul of my pitching staff. So, I thought I would share my goofiness.

I cut my best pitcher to get under the cap and then after arbitration I was right back up to 64.7 Mil. No money to spend here.

Good news is my team is still fairly solid with the loss of Deacon Phillipe, the big question will be how much more money these arbitration guys are going to get next season. Who will I need to cut after this year?

Now that we're a few seasons in I'm starting to get a nice big man crush on this league. Thanks DC. Your effort is much appreciated.

Cool. We're starting to hit our stride and this is a league where I think it'll only get better with time.

I guess my pitcher didn't like my 10 year contract extension offer

10 years? Was it like a 100,000 salary and then $1,000,000 in the last year or something?

Nah, I had a pitcher who wanted something like 1.5 mil for 3 years and I decided I liked that so much I offered him around 2.2 or 2.3 for 10 years. I guess that was a bit longer than he wanted to stay in old Beantown.

Part of it was also mostly just to see what the player would do. As much as I "play" OOTP, I really don't get much time to play OOTP these days. So sometimes I try fun things when it won't hurt me just to see what happens

I don't think I've tried 10, but I have offered 7-8 year contracts if the player is asking for a number I really like. Usually it doesn't work though.

I love the news stories in OOTP. C Fred Jacklitsch, who actually did not sign last sim and waited until this one to take my offer, says it was a hard decision to make, because his family loved living in their old city with his old team, but that he couldn't pass up the chance to join with us.

Of course, we ARE his old team, so they didn't have to move at all

i dont like the chances of the Pirates this year. I have a feeling i will be getting a top 5 draft pick next year. Oh and good luck to Cy Young in retirement i hear he opened up a used car dealership somewhere. He finished with a record of 384-257 with an ERA of 3.18 and 1713 K's. He retired 2 games behind all time wins leader Kid Nichols. (In real life Young finished 511-316 with an ERA of 2.63 and 2803 K's and Kid Nichols is 150 wins behind Cy Young on the all time win leader board)

OOTP makes me do it manually and again, I forgot. Sorry, one of these seasons I won't forget to do it in the off-season and to turn it off after ST.

LOL. I offered him to the penny what the owner would approve. Don't underestimate the value of that extra 350k.
