1909 FOOL-H Playoff Thread

The postseason soundtrack for this year is from Minnesota-based indie rapper P.O.S. - Never Better from the album of the same name.

Because really...it seemed fitting. Good luck to all.

Well okay. Now that I've exported my FOFC-FBCB team, it's time for playoff baseball!

While the Giants pursue the three-peat, the A's hope to avenge their loss in the '07 Series at the hands of these very Giants from New York.

In the context of history, this three-peat is interesting, because it solidifies the Giants solidly as the #1 team in New York since to date the Yankees have never won a title and have just an AL pennant at the start to their credit.

Will this alter the course of history at all? Will this mean the Yankees will say, move to Boston if the Beaneaters decide to 1) become the Braves and 2) move to Milwaukee and Atlanta some day?

What? The Boston Yankees? Blasphemy, right? Well, it almost happened. Read about it here.

Just some food for thought. In any case, another great season. Thanks gang. File going up now.

Nice to get all of the awards but not nice to lose in the ALCS once again.
