1904 FOOL-H Season Thread
If you were over 25 players (NYG, Chicago Whales and Washington were) I had to do it for you manually and so, I took the worst players off that you didn't have starting.

That's not cool. I exported 3 times... hmmmm.
At least you moved someone with some thought put into it. Thanks. |

I import all of the exports from the server directly, that way, nothing gets missed by the game, but I also do it in-game too. So I dunno.

Tight race in the AL with teams moving up and down the list. And us locked into third as everyone jumps above and below us.

Looking unlikely for us to sneak in the playoffs this season. Not a huge suprise, I got into some salary issues this last offseason thanks to arbitration amounts putting me over the salary cap without any really nice way to resolve it.
My end result was playing with only like 19 men on my roster this season. So I was rather thin That will be better next season hopefully! |

Congrats to the playoff teams
I am a bit surprised that I called the Baltimore victory. I'm pleased I improved the Yanks in my first offseason truly at the helm, even if modestly. Once I can clear out 1 or 2 more contracts, I feel good about the -H.

Ugh, once Chicago got into that 2 spot I stayed right behind them but could never overtake them. Congrats, and we should be in the thick of it again next year.

Try the league file now, folks. I dunno if it's right or not, because I had to do it manually. Let me know.

We had an all-Boston Series last time, will we have an all-Chicago series this time?

Woo! Great race Greg. We must have gone game for game at the end, because you were consistently 2.5 or 2 gb.
Can't wait to see the stats of my guys. Good luck to the other playoff contenders. |

When you export, if you check the FOOL-H export tracker does it show up there? That will tell us if the problem is with the upload or the file version or the commish download. |

Not sure how we can do it, but I'd like to figure it out for the future. The export tracker shows that I had an export from yesterday afternoon which would have been after the Tuesday sim and before today's sim. It worked out for us this year as we flirted with .500, but I'm not sure we would be able to improve... |

Wow, Honus Wagner's .399 average certainly didn't hurt.
I apologize for my ignorance, but are there any rules/restrictions for the playoffs? Can we use a 3-man rotation? |

The owner of the Pirates said we would be right around .500, i was thinking playoffs, cuz the owner knows what he is talking about. always next year.

Mine either - 2nd season in a row. Thought maybe the moves I made helped me win the division but it ended up being the AI doing everything for me instead. Bummer..

I'd recommend everyone in the future ensure that once you upload it, that you redownload the same import via FTP after you've exported it, to make sure it matches what you sent to the server.

I don't want to step on your toes or insult you man, but I think with so many people having issues, there is something going on with the import. Either the game is broken or you're not doing something right. I appreciate your commishing, so please don't take this the wrong way.
