1911 FOOL-H Off-season

I don't know if the memo never got communicated or if people just haven't bothered to update yet or what, but 9 of the teams came up for files that were wrong version.

You can download the patch from here. I'm not going to hold up tonight's sim as a result, mostly because it's only a sim to the start of FA and it's likely people just didn't have exports.

But I just don't want people to get screwed come FA time, which begins once I upload the file tonight.

So patch your game. K THX.

I'm uploading the file, though the first time it went up with an error, so I'm doing it again.

Ugh, I missed that I needed to re-do my file with the patch. Not a huge deal I don't think, just some minor arbitration issues.

I was lucky I did, because I went from one super 2 guy to 4. All would have been sorely missed if they had gone to FA.

Then again, all have been on my team the past 2 years while I have been sucking wind....maybe they AREN'T key contributors.

So yea...I patched and now something is VERY screwy with FOOL-H. When I load up, half of my team are Joe Unknowns and if I go anywhere other than the manager page, it crashes.

Solo league works fine.

Maybe once you patched, you needed to download the latest file that was on the server?

A ton of Joe Unknowns sometimes is a sign that you don't have a complete file or it is corrupted in some way. Try to re-download it and see if it cleans it up.

Ugh, I wanted Collins, but once again the deep-pocket Yankees beat the Red Sox with a larger offer. They are EVIL I tell you, EVIL! Bad for the game! Boo!

The deep pocket Yankees finally wised up and broke the bank for a pair of guys we wanted, especially Collins. I had an offer ready for him, and hit "+1million" 4 more times, then twice more after that.

Haha! We tried for Collins too, but next to the Yankees offer Eddie Collins told me that I was quite the comedian.

As of last night there is no patch for MAC. That is why I haven't exported. Hopefully there is one today.

I downloaded one the other night that must have been taken back. Don't know how it happened but there was one available on the patch page Friday night.

Best I can tell, the mac version had to be taken down to work out an issue where people were having it unlicense itself. I'm hoping it'll be back up soon.

Thanks DC for the sim.

Just at first glance, I got a few of the people I was looking for here in the draft.

Same here...

First four picks = SP's

I know I need pitching, but that's a bit ridiculous!

I actually wouldn't mind trading for a young pitcher that is perhaps 2-3 years away from the majors and could be a decent starter if you have any extra. I seem to only draft hitters, so I have a ton of good ones and no where to put them.

Lets talk!

I forgot about the draft, too. Luckily, I drafted a pretty good CF.

I got my 2nd and 4th on my list and five draft list players altogether...I am very happy with the draft!
