Nice round for Mike Schaplowsky, he's near the top of the leaderboard. He'll go aggressive all the way through in round 3 and hope to have another solid round.

Bell E
Justyce +2
Vecchio +1

Hole 12 – Justyce is quick to regain one of the dropped strokes from 11, when he slams home the 15 foot birdie putt.

Will Brown (-5) – birdie putt is short

Hole 16

Ginsberg (-6) – Another birdie for Ginsberg who has been on fire since the second hole…he’s -4 under on the round with a double bogey, he’s had 6 birdies and he still has 2 holes to play. He’s also knocking on the door for the win now…(-7)
Reynolds (E) – tough pin prevents Reynolds from making a legitimate run at birdie

Hole 15

Babson (-8) – solid par - Babson needs to get going again so he can post a number in the clubhouse that leaders need to worry about.
Robie (-2) – smart play to middle of the green leads to an easy par

Hole 14

Fujita (-6) – up and down saves par
Jones (-3) – long iron approach is too aggressive and inaccurate – misses the green short side and player gets a bogey (-2)

Hole 13

Doyle (-7) – solid par
Shaplowsky (-5) – solid par

Hole 12

Art Mullen (-5) – solid par
Saku Koekela (-4) – drops a 15 footer for birdie (-5)

Hole 11

Jesse Porter (-10) - aggressively attacks the pin and leaves himself in jail – short side, deep grass, down hill green with no way to stop the shot – the chip rolls to almost 30 feet, which is promptly 3 putted for double bogey…that gives Smith a 2 shot lead on the field (-8)
Harold Finch (-8) – misses a birdie putt from 12 feet

Hole 10

Archie Goodwin (-8) – solid par
Joe Smith (-10) – birdie putt isn’t firm enough to hold the line

Colton Rhodes (-1) - solid par

Rhodes finishes even for the round and 1 under for the tournament. Brown shoots a nice 69 for the day and goes from 2 under to 5 under earning himself a much nicer pay day.

Hole 17

Ginsberg (-7) – solid par
Reynolds (E) – reaches the green in two, and two putts for birdie (-1)

Hole 16

Babson (-8) – solid par
Robie (-2) – solid par

Hole 15

Fujita (-6) – solid par
Jones (-2)- solid par

Hole 14

Doyle (-7) – scratches out a par
Shaplowsky (-5) – solid par

Hole 13

Art Mullen (-5) – solid par
Saku Koekela (-5) – solid par

Hole 12
Jesse Porter (-8) – solid par
Harold Finch (-8) – solid par

Hole 11

Archie Goodwin (-8) – solid par
Joe Smith (-10) – in trouble off the tee as he finds himself In the trees, tries to hook the ball around the trees but it doesn’t come around enough and he’s left with a difficult downhill sidehill chip. He can’t get it home in regulation so he drops a shot (-9)

A bunch of players are within striking distance and there are a bunch of holes still to go...

Update 21

Hole 18

Ginsberg (-7) – solid par and his phenomenal round finishes…
Reynolds (-1) – birdie putt races by the hole, made coming back for par

Ginsberg closes with a 68, but remember he was 3 over through 3 holes...so he was 7 under from the 4th hole on...had he just started out with pars he might have won this tournament. Reynolds had a bad round shooting 1 over for the day and finishing -1 for the tournament

Hole 17

Babson (-8) – solid par
Robie (-2) – reaches the green in two and 2 putts for birdie (-3)

Hole 16

Fujita (-6) – birdie putt just slips by on the right edge
Jones (-2)- Gets his birdie putt to fall (-3)

Hole 15

Doyle (-7) – solid par
Shaplowsky (-5) – solid par

Hole 14

Art Mullen (-5) – solid par
Saku Koekela (-5) – solid par

This par 5 really has some teeth today – as no one has birdied yet…

Hole 13

Jesse Porter (-8) – solid par
Harold Finch (-8) – solid par

Hole 12

Archie Goodwin (-8) – up and down to save par
Joe Smith (-9) – up and down to save par

Update 21

Hole 18

Babson (-8) – has a birdie putt from 12 feet but it was never close - settle for par
Robie (-3) – confident putt drops from 16 for birdie (-4)

Hole 17

Fujita (-6) – mashed drive allows player to reach the green in two…eagle putt is just short – tap in birdie (-7)
Jones (-3) – a bad bounce kicks the ball into a small patch of trees. No backswing, no line, no shot…player is forced to chip laterally back to the fairway…that stroke costs him as he bogeys the hole (-2)

Hole 16

Doyle (-7) – solid par
Shaplowsky (-5) – solid par

Hole 15

Art Mullen (-5) – took the bogey out of play by hitting to the middle of the green – 2 putts and walk off with the par
Saku Koekela (-5) – solid par

Hole 14

Jesse Porter (-8) – takes dead aim at the pin and misses – the aggressive approach hurts as he drops a stroke (-7)
Harold Finch (-8) – misses a 22 foot birdie putt

Hole 13

Archie Goodwin (-8) – solid par
Joe Smith (-9) – solid par
