So to recap for todays challenge, the categories are:
30 library patrons in the Youth Services section of a library were asked: Which is the best Harry Potter book? (6 answers) 40 fourth graders were asked: What is your favorite food? (5 answers) 20 teachers were asked: Which movie will win best picture? (5 answers) 20 poker players were asked: Who is the best poker player? (4 answers) 30 adults (combination of library patrons and teachers) were asked: What time do you get up in the morning (to the nearest half hour)? (6 answers) OK. I like The Departed for Best Picture, but I'm not a teacher. I guess the other choices there would be Babel? Little Miss Sunshine? Those seem to be the top three picks generally. Poker players I'm not sure of at all. Now I forget the other categories......my memory sucks lately. Kid's favorite food? Pizza, hamburgers and hot dogs come to mind first. Would candy count? Getting up in the morning for library patrons/teachers. 6-6:30 are my guess right now. Harry Potter books -- you'd think there's got to be something around that gives general ratings for the various books.

Also, what do we think about the revelation in main thread?

Was Goblet of Fire the one with the Wizard tournament? If so I think that would be my guess as well.

Did some research, Philosopher's Stone was the first, but the Half-Blood Prince was released most recently. I guess since he asked patrons in the youth section I'd go with that. Kids usually like the most recent in a series.
As far as best picture goes: Leters from Iwo Jima and The Departed seem too violent, the Queen is too British. I'd say between Little Miss Sunshine and Babel, I'd go with Babel since Brad Pitt is in it and women like Brad Pitt. |

They also might like the most recent that was a movie. Wasn't that Prisoner of Azkhaban or whatever it was called? I guess it'd be either Half-Blood Prince or that. I've read them all but I don't know which would be considered the favorite so I'll trust your judgement on that.

Dola, I think we're pretty set with:
Pizza 6:00 AM Phil Helmuth Harry Potter: Prisoner, Goblet or Half-Blood Prince Best picture: Departed or Babel I guess we should let JE weigh in with his thoughts.

I like the pizza, 6:00 AM, and Phil Helmuth (I don't know any poker players) answers. For Best Picture, I say The Departed. I know the survey asked teachers, but I think even those that didn't see the film will know that it's the favorite to win. As for HP books, I think either Prisoner or Goblet are good answers with Goblet of Fire getting a slight edge. |

Oh, got it. I was referring to the whole Oz breakdown and the fact that they lied about clearing Lathum and what that might mean. I really can't figure out why they did that at all. They have no wolves apparently, they have the idols for protection, so I don't understand the need for deception.

Wow, it's not often I need to google a post here. I like both sayings. And as you'll see, you're right to treat every post that way.

OK, I've gone back and forth about this all day. What my vote comes down to is this: 1) I believe we got the wolf in our tribe with ntn (despite the hints from Oz which I have no reason to trust right now); and 2) with just two of us left in Howard, I need to stick with the more experienced player. I like what Marathoner has done and I look forward to playing with him in the future, but for now:
VOTE MARATHONER
