I plan on participating this year but didnt want to until after watching everyone this first week.
So far my assumption about Tenn looked pretty good and I expect Oklahoma to drop massively next week. I think they'll lose this weekend but even if they dont I think they have 2-3 more losses this year. |

Random personal poll fun facts
This is the 7th season I've blogged a weekly poll so it was interesting to see some of the trivia stuff. Now down to seven teams that have been ranked in every single one: Alabama, Oklahoma, Ohio State, FSU, LSU, Georgia, Wisconsin This is the first preseason poll I've done without Oregon. Of those 7, only 2 have been in every year-end poll: Bama and FSU, the others have all missed once except for the most inconsistent: UGA, end of season ranked only 3 of the past 6. Best overachiever in terms of year end vs preseason? Utah, 3 year-end poll appearances to date ... which did factor into me ranking them in the preseason for the very first time. This year also marks the first preseason ranking during the run for two other teams: Tennessee and Houston. No team has missed year end after being preseason ranked more than once.
