TEW: ECW 1999 - Continued from 1997/98 Dynasty

In an effort to gain some serious structure I will continue the dynasty here as I embark on the next year for ECW.

- WCW held Monday Nitro (B-), headlined by Sting defeating Scott Hall (B)

- WWF held Raw (B) headlined by Ken Shamrock beating Owen Hart (B)

- Huge news coming out of Nitro as Hollywood Hogan has gone back to being a face, after reuniting the Mega Powers with Randy Savage to beat Vicious & Delicious.

- Also coming out of Nitro was reports that both Scott Hall and Curt Hennig need time off the road.

- WWF held their Underground (B), headlined by Owen Hart defeating Steve Austin (B). The show also saw Henry Godwinn win the European Title after beating Vader (C)

- NJPW has fallen to Cult size.

- We sign the Great Sauske to a 800/ppa deal. We also make a huge signing, albeit for the short term, with Vader. He is currently a Freelancer so he has signed a short term deal (3 months) with us. He will make 3500 PPA with a 3000 downside.

The PPV opens up live with Taz entering the arena. On his way to the dressing room he is stopped by Tommy Dreamer. They share a quick word before Dreamer pats his chest and both men go their separate ways (D)

In a bout that had solid in-ring action and average heat, Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy defeated Mikey Whipwreck and Spike Dudley in 15:38 when Jeff Hardy defeated Mikey Whipwreck by pinfall with a Swanton Bomb (D)

After the match, Jeff Hardy gets on the mic and says Edge tried to take him out, but he failed because the Hardy's are still here! Matt then grabs the mic and lays down a challenge for a match at Guilty as Charged for the Tag Team Titles (E+)

We cut to the back where Christian and Stevie Richards each hype their respective matches. Christian says that tonight after Richards takes away the ECW Television Title from RVD the revolution will have begun (D)

In a match that had an average crowd reaction and some decent in-ring action, Christian Cage defeated Mike Awesome in 12:11 by pinfall (D-)

After the match Christian tells Awesome that he is a monster but he is letting himself grow soft. Christian makes an offer for him to join up with Cage and Richards. Awesome stares at Christian before leaving the ring (D-)

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Kurt Angle defeated Doug Furnas in 12:23 by pinfall with an Angle Slam (C-)

A video airs hyping a huge announcement from Paul Heyman at Holiday Hell tomorrow (B)

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Rob Van Dam defeated Stevie Richards in 16:34 by pinfall with a Frog Splash. Rob Van Dam makes defence number 2 of his ECW World Television title (D-) After the match Christian comes out to lay into RVD. Mike Awesome runs out apparently to make the save but instead he Awesome Bomb's RVD as Christian and Stevie celebrate (D-)

In a bout that had great heat and good action, Adam Copeland and Lance Storm defeated Taz and Tommy Dreamer and Shane Douglas and Bam Bam Bigelow in 14:04; the order of elimination was Shane Douglas and Bam Bam Bigelow first, and finally Taz and Tommy Dreamer. Adam Copeland and Lance Storm make defence number 9 of their ECW World Tag Team titles (D+) As the teams collect themselves, the Hardys hit the ring and go right after Copeland & Storm. The two teams brawl all around the arena (C) As the brawl goes on, the show ends with Taz and Shane Douglas nose to nose, a scene that takes the PPV off air (C-)

Holiday Hell opens with an unusual video. It is a scene from Terry Funk's Double Cross Ranch, set one week prior. The video shows the Dudley Boys looking for Terry Funk but they are told he is still in the hospital. When the video ends the Dudley's are in the ring demanding they get to finish the job vs Sabu tonight! (C-)

The Dudleys' wait isn't long as Sabu hits the ring and gets an advantage early on but the Dudleys over power him, that is until Tommy Dreamer hits the ring and the brawl escalates (D+)

Finally Paul Heyman comes out and says the two teams will wrestle right fucking now! (D-)

In a match that had some good action and a good crowd, Dudley Boys defeated Sabu and Tommy Dreamer in a tag team match in 25:20 when Bubba Ray Dudley put Sabu through a table (C+)

We get an interview backstage from Christian, Richards and Awesome. Christian says this the Power Trio and no one will stop them! (D-)

In a match that had an average crowd reaction and some decent in-ring action, Stevie Richards, Christian Cage and Mike Awesome defeated Doug Furnas, Phil LaFon and Chris Candido in 15:57 when Mike Awesome defeated Chris Candido by pinfall with an Awesome Bomb (D)

Kurt Angle comes out and says he has been in ECW a few months now and is ashamed he has yet to taste gold, so tonight he is laying down the challenge to RVD to man up and face him with his gold on the line! (D+)

In a bout that had a good crowd and good action, Rob Van Dam drew with Kurt Angle in 30:00 when the time limit expired (D)

Paul Heyman comes out to the ring and says he is proud to announce ECW's newest acquisition, The Man They Call Vader! (B)

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy defeated Super Crazy and Christopher Daniels in 15:13 when Matt Hardy defeated Super Crazy by pinfall with a Flying Legdrop (D+)

A video airs hyping our Main Event triple threat match (C)

In a bout that had great heat and great wrestling action, Taz defeated Shane Douglas and Adam Copeland in 32:39 when Taz defeated Shane Douglas by pinfall with a T-Bone Suplex. Taz makes defence number 2 of his ECW World Heavyweight title (C+)
