You still have about 12 hours to get your picks in. I just finished working on my mock draft.

I waited until the last minute this season. Last year, I picked it a few days early and then Jake Long signed early and screwed the top of my list up.
This season, I know I got the first one correct. |

I sent in my entry. I really, really like the the scoring system. It's a nice cross between contests where you only get points if you get the pick exactly right and ones where there isn't really a bonus for getting a pick right (ex. 5 points for getting a pick exactly, 4 points for 1 off, 3 for 2 off, etc.).

Is there anywhere that lists everyone elses picks once the draft starts? |

A couple of guys could just totally throw things off. Dirty Sanchez, where Crabtree goes..the order of the DE's and WR's.
I grabbed 2nd a few years ago...looking to improve. . . I LOVE THE DRAFT!!! |

Eight-way tie for first, mostly entries from the last couple of hours.
I had heard the Jackson rumors last night, didn't quite believe KC would reach like that. You don't take a guy at #3 who isn't a very instinctive player. |

I was in that eight-way tie for first until Curry went to the Seahawks.
I got sold on the Jackson pick this morning but only partly because of KC's interest. I didn't believe Curry was going to be the pick because Pioli was leading everyone to believe Curry was the pick. I think we already have Curry on the team, he's name is Derrick Johnson. But I'm not sold on Jackson remaining a Chief. If Curry slid further I think there was a possibility that the Chiefs move Jackson for Curry and a 2nd. There are rumblings that a lot of teams wanted Jackson and were willing to trade into the top 10 to get him. If the Chiefs get an offer in the next couple of hours for Jackson plus a 2nd and can still get a front seven guy they like, I think they could make a move. |

I've hit on Stafford, Jason Smith, Darrius Heyward-Bey, and Andre Smith, but having Monroe and Crabtree going so high (#3 and #4 overall) and whiffing on where Mark Sanchez and Tyson Jackson went probably killed my entry

Seriously...the Raiders...Al Davis. The league is too refined & mature to have this kind of thing still happening. The 60's are over already!

The problem is his unwillingness to move down. if he is who you want fine, but move down and get some value for the pick.

Anybody else surprised to see that the NFL invited Freeman to sit in the Green Room? He could be sitting there a very long time.

There's someone named Shadow Jack who is doing so well that Mel Kiper may want to hire him to help out next year. He's got about a 100-point lead and I don't think he'll be caught.

I may loose badly at this...but on the whole, I'm winning. As I sit here on my sofa watching this wonderful draft (eating pizza, drinking beer & coke)...I have, for the 2nd consecutive season, my girl friend watching with me! She loves the draft!
How lucky am I? Did I mention she is graduating from med school in a 2 weeks? |

I'm doing terrible now, but maybe I'll get my going out on a limb pick, Beanie Wells to Miami correct.

She left after pick 24...just not in it for the long term! I'm thinking her plan is to come back for the start of the 2nd (Cincinnati) for all the value plays.

I have to be pleased hitting on 30 of the players selected in the first round. But the once Seattle took Aaron Curry and the Raiders went rogue, that set off a chain reaction that upset the apple cart. There were also a few spots where I had the right position just not the right player.
ShadowJack did a whale of a job. Congrats. |

Yeah I wish I could go back and see my picks and what my score was. Again, I know it was horrible. But I really would like to see how horrible.

Bump...not even sure if this has happened the past couple years. Any idea if it's happening this year?

I've got a pretty good feeling this year. I think I could nail a lot of 2009 picks if we did do it this year.
