i like how Houston has become the "anti-pass happy" team. they pound the ball like and old fashioned team. living around Houston ive learned over the years to hate the Houston football teams, but this team plays the way i like to watch football. i hate how the NFL has become so pass friendly with its rules the last few years, i might root for the "Texans" just to see a team pound away in the superbowl

also it would be a big f-u to all the talking heads that say you have to pass the ball with their QB hard-ons

My beloved Cards are not going to beat the Patriots today, a team they haven't beaten since about 1991, with Kolb around 100 yards passing are they?

Of course said losing streak is why I thought the Patriots would be an easy pick in the FOFC Survivor league this week....

So in the Patriots/Cards game has a situation where there was a clear personal foul on a TE on the sidelines and one of those iffy roughing the passer calls that happen on the same play.

The officials call both fouls, which causes the announcer to go on a tirade about how the replacement officials are ruining the game. Ummm. . .

1 - the right call was made no matter what
2 - the regular officials have a difficult time with the QB hit rules and miss them too\

Idiot.

In other news, it looks like this Richardson kid knows how to play football.

Chiefs falling apart. Cardinals driving, Eagles/Ravens tied at 17

Then Beli makes a moronic challenge, the announcer looks at a replay where the guy clearly got both feet down and says "no, he only got one foot down"

Good lord. Prepare to lose a TO Bill.

Beli does lose the TO, yet more injuries in the Ravens/Eagles game. I'm not sure how either team plays next week after this one. Cards score a TD, being reviewed.

Carolina now has TD's from Stewart, Williams, Tolbert, and Newton (Stewart's was on a catch, the rest are rushing TD's). Carolina goes up 35-20 in the 4th.

Wouldn't the RT be more important than the LT on the Eagles line?

You do realize the Texans are 50/50 pass/run today, right?

Nobody says you can't be successful running the ball. Everyone says you can't win in this league if you can't throw the ball. When you have Andre Johnson and Owen Daniel at your disposal, you are not one dimensional.

Vick shows off his good/bad routine. A perfectly placed strike to Jackson on a bomb. Follows it up with an INT. Ravens given new life and now driving.

Tannehill marches the Dolphins down on an 8 play, 62 yard drive to make it 28-13.

Not sure you can blame Vick for that one. The ball hit the TE's hands.

This is a physical, hard hitting game. Bordering on dirty from both sides. They are beating the hell out of each other.

Harvin hurt, if he's out the Vikings passing game is pretty much dead. They don't have anyone else who can make dumping the ball off behind the line of scrimmage 20 times a game work.

EDIT: And he's back in next drive.

Flacco has been horrific in the second half. Not just bad, but spectacularly bad.

Weeden playing fairly well today. Starting to wonder if the Eagles D might be just that good.

Ravens kick their second 50+ yard FG to take a three point lead.

Stupid challenge by Cards coach. Even if it's a catch, it isn't a first down. The only reason you throw that flag is if you are planning on going for it. We'll see what he does.

Giants with a long TD to Cruz and then run it in for two. Tie game.

I didn't realize Reggie Bush had enough money to buy an NFL franchise, but he clearly owns the Raiders right now.

Is it just the day for idiotic challenges? Harbaugh now challenging that Vick was sacked on a play where it looks obvious to me it wasn't. (replays conifrm it wasn't) He now loses a TO in a smash mouth game where a TO, you know, might be useful later on.

I understand he wants it to be third and 17 vs second and 17, but that was moronic.

That looked like a GENEROUS spot in the NE game.

Curious to see a replay.

Patriots adn Vikings both score late. Pats miss the two and are down two. 2:06 left, Pats with two timeouts.

31 seconds left in the Vikings/Colts game. Looks like OT there.

Typical Pats fans, running back to the stadium after ditching their team when things looked bleak. I remember when they booed them off the field a couple of years ago. Damned idiots. (not all pats fans, just some of them)
