And did anybody have North Texas curbstomping UTSA today?

Cause they're getting close to that point.

In the weird what-ifs category ... what if Alabama loses to Auburn but then beats Georgia?

I don't want to think about this, so I really hope it doesn't happen.

It has been in my mind. Georgia probably is still in at a lower seed, and Alabama doesn't make it unless there is some real craziness elsewhere.

Bama's offense has been bad, but Auburn has no offense.

The four playoff teams would likely be: Michigan (assuming they win the Big Ten Championship), Cincinnati (assuming undefeated conference champion), one-loss Georgia, and Big XII Champion (assuming OU or OSU wins out).

Love replays and challenges. 99% of the time they ultimately get it right

Was there a time when some argued against it?

Bama must REALLY want to go to New Orleans instead of the playoff.

They've now looked like woefully underachieving dog shit for basically a month straight. At some point, that's not a bad game, it's who you actually are.

Losing their best receiver to a targeting call on special teams is not going to help.

I have a feeling the second half of the Iron Bowl is going to be a Bama beat-down.

I am not convinced Young is a good QB. He has some great receivers, but he not good at picking up the rush and making quick decisions. He is not the solid field general that Saban usually has.

But OH NO, it's the preseason eye test - Alabama clearly has the best roster, so they are one of the 4 best teams in the country no matter if they look bad or lose a game or two.

They've basically quit -- though with the lack of offensive coaching this year I'm not sure how much I'd blame them in some respects.

And yet they're STILL might well be the best hope of anybody beating Georgia.

They'll (no pun intended) dog walk Michigan, the team with the HS schedule will be comical, and there's not really even a valid 4th option.

There's literally nothing that sickens me more to contemplate than that reality, but that's where we are.

It was a very rare encouraging sign to learn that the $$ had been made available to fire the used car salesman. A new administration beyond just the AD might be necessary though, one that was interested in fielding competitive programs in major sports.

More and more I believe this might be much closer to the situation at Miami than I've previously given credence to.

Tigers defense has been incredible. Both teams have less than 5 yards rushing. Don’t think I’ve seen that before.

Shots of Bryce Young shows him looking "not very intense". He should be stepping up and rallying his troops right now. Prob thinking of his lost Heisman.

My wife's family are Auburn people. She is in the other room giggling every-time Alabama does something wrong. While ago when they missed the field goal, Gary Danielson said that was on the unit. She laughed and said "he said unit!" I love her.

I’m not sure which is worse: lying and saying we have money just so we don’t look like a terrible program with no choice, or having the money and deciding, yeah, this is my coach.

That was a gimme for the Tigers. Didn't look like roughing the passer to me.

But hey, that is karma. The Tide gets a bunch of questionable calls.

I thought it was a late hit but I also think he took 2 steps despite the Danielson analysis to the contrary.

At this point, Auburn should go wildcat the rest of the way. That QB is providing nothing.

They waited as long as they could to blow that dead. If he kept churning for 5 minutes they would have waited until he fell across the 1st down line.

Definitely no more passes.

Lots of time left for AL to tie it at 1:42.

I knew when the Auburn running back ran out of bounds that Alabama was tie this game and take to overtime. Bama is going to pull this off.

Yep. Hard to get on a kid that was trying to get a first down, but that play killed Auburn.

Everyone can be pissed about the dude getting pulled out of bounds and not going down, but the real issue was having a 3rd and 1 and not taking a snap under center but instead 5 yards back with a gimpy QB everyone knew was not going to run or throw.

I can't see anyone being pissed. He thought he was going to get the line, it was a good play by the defender that stopped him. It just end up costing them.

Wisconsin stopped, they're not coming back now. Somewhere Scott Frost is saying, 'Wait. We had the lead going into the fourth quarter against Iowa and Michigan, who are now playing for the conference championship. And we won one lousy BIG game?'

Why do you go for an XP if you're the second team? Don't you take over on offense first so the odds tilt against you.
