I understand that, but that's not my point. My point is that it looked like pass interference to people watching in real time on television. It's feasible that it could have looked like pass interference in real time to someone on the field who was 30-40 feet away.

I'm not really trying to say anything more than this. I don't think that people should stop complaining about the call or anything. I guess I'm just asking what could have possibly been done. If it looked like interference to that official, he has to throw the flag. Yes, it was a horrible call, but unlike some other horrible calls I've seen, at least I can understand where the official is coming from on this one.

Yeah, but the guy 10 feet away has no excuse. It was clear that he should have overruled. They are a lot close than the tv camera.

Edit: and also, given how long it took him to throw it was obvious he wasn't sure. If you aren't sure, don't throw the flag.

What a great play by Watson... I think it might have been a touchback.

Bailey slowed up and screwed himself out of a TD.

Edit - If that's a fumble this is a touchback.

Bailey is a moron for slowing up on that. Looks like a touchback to me.

Darn, Bailey did screw the Broncos that play. Should have been a TD, but I don't think it will be conclusively a touchback.

However, can you tell from a replay, INDISPUTABLY, that it went OOB in the endzone.

If there's anything worse than reading The Sports Guy yammering on and on about the Pats, it's going to be reading about how they only lost because of the refs if this game continues along these lines.

He will have a point KSyrup.. when 14 Points can sincerely be questioned, it's gotta be a factor.

oh we can't cry EasyMac. We have absolutely no grounds to cry compared to a lot of other franchises. So we won't three-peat...there are teams that havn't made the playoffs in twice that long. Big deal. And we have a solid foundation, even if we lose we'll be right back next year.

I don't see how you can possibly say that you saw something on any of those replays where the ball conclusively went out of the end zone.

It seems like every time I go upstairs to catch the game, something bad happens to the Pats (I saw the KO fumble earlier and now the INT). It's too aggravating to watch so I won't. Go Pats.
