So basically, it's like the Brown fumble never happened and the Pats ran 2 minutes off the clock and were forced to punt. The game's still not over, unfortunately.

As much as the Patriots have done to give this game to the Broncos, it looks like Denver is trying to give it back. I hope the Broncos actually try to run the clock down this time.

NE has me almost as worried as Texas did in the 4th quarter of the Rose Bowl..

NE needs one nice drive with a few first downs to put this one away.

The only way this becomes a game is if something game changing happens. NE doesn't deserve to be in it right now.

Just me, but isn't New England out of timeouts? One for the failed challenge, one when they were on offense, and just now.

That's wasn't even a decent attempt to draw them offsides. Sheesh.

I would tend to think it would work best if you went through a whole bunch of motions, got the D to relax a bit, and then snapped it.

What I don't understand is why you never see a team quick snap it when the defense is expecting them to draw them offside. It seems to me like that would work.

Why do people care so much about announcers? Honestly. I have the sound off and headphones on. I understand the game - I don't need someone to tell me what's happening, even if they're good at it.

now i get to listen to a week of how overrated the broncos are and how dominant the colts/steelers are, with great character and superior defense that will stuff the broncos and a great offense that is virtually unstoppable......etc. etc

You know what really jumped out at me from this game? Obviously NE fumbled a lot, but the historical problem that reared its head again this time was their inability to stop DEN on third and long. How many times did DEN have around 3-20 and convert? That's been my memory of DEN-NE since I was a kid. Third and long, Rod Smith, first down.

I'm not sad.. I'm proud of what the Pats have done. I'm a bit disappointed, but there's 31 teams that are disappointed at the end of the season.

A great win. I'm dissapointed about the calls. I don't like seeing the team I cheer for win like that. People will make a lot of the calls and they will obviously make a lot of the turnovers on special teams. But to me the story of the game is that the Patriots didn't hit the end zone until there were only 8 minutes left in the football game.

You cannot play better defense against this team and this QB than that. What an incredible defensive effort. Simply amazing.

Congrats to the Pats on a great run. (one that has not yet ended, only delayed)

Go Pittsburgh!!!!
