odd. yesterday, all 4 games tied the series 1-1. Tonight, 3 of the 4 in progress seem like they are going to go to 2-0. I hope I just didn't curse the Avs...

WOW

Rangers had a breakaway and Brodeur ROBBED 'em. Still 2-0.

Devils kill off a 2 man powerplay, Madden comes out of the box gets a puck as it is being cleared, and scores shorthanded to make it 3-0!

John Madden has two shorthanded goals tonight, although he should give Sandis Ozolinsh a hug for the second one.

I think you mean the Sabres game. The Flyers didn't even show up. They're probably hanging out in the same bar as the Rangers.

If you are a flyers fan like me be glad that Centre Ice pulled the game. If you are a Sabers fan, good luck next round.

4-1 Devils...

A loss is a loss...no matter the scores. Relatively fine wont win you any games. By the way, way to choke away the division title.

Considering we're still a rebuilding team, I'm not that bothered about the team basically imploding at the end of the season. Anything beyond a decent season, not to mention actually making the playoffs, was a big bonus with this team. Had the Rangers been considered a strong Cup candidate from Day 1, rather than being predicted to finish near bottom, I'd be a bit upset with not getting results in the playoffs

Yeah, it'd be nice to get some results in the post season, but after the last 7 horrible seasons, I'm just happy the organization as a whole is taking steps to the right direction.

of course, as you've heard, I haven't had a chance to WATCH any of the mother fucker, but Stars in game one looked exactly like they did in 2004 against the Avs. They coasted through that series, and they seem to be doing the same.

I also think the fact that they are NOT as good as their record is working against them right now.

Devils have now won 13 straight, Rangers have lost 7 straight.... this series outcome couldn't be less in doubt.

Is it just me, or do the playoffs of hockey out-rival the big three other sports? The passion, intensity, and on-the-edge action is exciting as hell.
