CF stole my strategy or is getting revenge for the last game. EF steals my CF vote (see dubb's post earlier...I've been planning a CF vote since that post...but why start a pile now?

So Vote telle

I'll start at the bottom up this time.

Wow, you guys are fast out the gates this game. I've been at the doctor's all day with my youngest (double ear infection, bronchitis) and I've got a nasty head cold too. But I should be around.

Good to have you playing, Telle, you're always right on top of stuff like that.

What's the guess with 15 players? 3 wolves if there's a cunning? 4 wolves if not?

I don't know, we're right on that cusp. I would guess 3 total (including a cunning). If there are three, I would guess for balance sake, that there is no unroled wolf.

I find DT's and DV's votes interesting. Already a few candidates and one with 2 votes already, yet they both introduce new candidates.

Yeah I noticed that too. But neither one of them has a vote on them already, and so putting my vote there would just spread the field out even farther.. so I dropped that line of thinking. Might be worth keeping in the back of one's mind for future analysis though.

Just makes me wonder if someone is trying to protect one of the 4 candidates already with a vote on them.

I would guess that at least one wolf has already voted, seems wise of them. CF and Lathum are the only ones who have voted that also have a vote on them. Since CF has 2 already I'll vote Lathum instead.

Isn't everyone going from zero votes?

The logic is that unless i want to add yet another candidate, if I want to vote for someone who voted earlier you and CF are my only options.

huh?

When you voted Pass, Telle, KWhit, ChiefRum and I all had one vote and CF had two, yet you are framing it as if you had no choice but to vote for me. Seems odd.

1, I wanted to vote someone who had already cast a vote.

2. I did not want to add another candidate to the rather large list.

3. I had to vote for someone who had both voted, and been voted for.

4. There were only two of those.

I suppose it's strange, but I don't suppose a wolf at this point in the game would have to bend over backwards to find a villager to vote for.

I am of the opinion that we don't know anything. I'm sure that shocks everyone. So I'll aim to keep it interesting and move things back to a three way tie.

The way I see it is that if Lathum is a villager, he will be a nice asset for us to have. He's a good, active player. So I won't be voting for him today with no information to go on.

And I don't like CF's original as fast as humanly possible vote on me.

That's fine, DT, but I think it's funny how someone who gives an explanation for a vote gets so much more scrutiny around here than the zillion people who voted before me giving no explanation, saying they're picking a name out of a hat, or voting for an inane/personal/traditional reason. I don't like to vote for no reason or a nonsensical reason, so I come up with some strategy behind my vote. Why is that more suspicious than someone voting "their rival"?

Sure, I can see that. But I think the safe wolf play, in that case would be to just throw a vote on you because "you're always a wolf," or "I'm keeping it close" or something innocuous like that.

Not to mention the wolves don't have any need to target a particular villager on day one. Which is why day one always turns into a mess, only the villagers are likely to be doing that.

The boss wanted me to rub out kwhit because he was "too dangerous" to the organization. (lasted to the end two games in a row).
As for how quickly I voted, totally irrelevent. Was online when the game opened.

How can you possibly say that?

I had zero votes and 4 people had at least 1 vote.

I then get 2 quick votes. Then just as I a few others pull ahead RealDeal and CR come in with almost back to back votes.

How does that look like someone is saving me?

I wasn't too thrilled with the vote strictly because of Poli's voting strategy from last game being known (and even mentioned earlier in thread) and it struck me as mabe a wolf trying to get a first vote in one someone that was assumed to have a second vote coming (if Poli went with his top down strategy). It would be a way to hide a vote as a first vote.

Just food for thought, if nothing else.

hmm, also makes you wonder why Poli decided to go from the top down this time.
