The challenge for day two will be one of various showdowns.

There will be three competitions.

The first will be a sumo bout. Each team must select one member to participate. The winner of the bout gains one point for their team.

The second will be a simple challenge. Each team is given three items. A rock, a piece of paper and a pair of scissors. They are asked one simple task, to place them in order from 1st to 3rd. The teams will be judged based upon their decisions and scored likewise.

The third will be a competition of stamina. Each team must select two team members. One will stand upright while the other team member will climb onto the first team member so that their feet are not touching the ground. They must climb around that team member without touching the ground. The team that lasts the longest will win. Each team must select at least one player that has yet to fight to participate in this competition (non-CPU). The participants will declare how much energy (on a 1-100 scale with 100 being the most) they want to spend on this challenge. This will affect stamina if they have to fight tomorrow night. The teams may define a strategy but it is up to the fighter to determine how much energy to use. The results will be based upon the fighters abilities and energy spent.

Also to clarify. The fighters that lost tonight's fights are still available to participate in the challenges. They are still part of the team.

NPC clarification. Those fighters were created randomly and were rolled to be lesser skilled than the human fighters (kind of loses the drama if the NPC's were to dominate). They are not complete pushovers but all player characters should be favorites in a bout against an NPC. They can also be helpful in challenges, but don't expect one to dominate to help your team to victory (unless they get a perfect set of rolls for the whatever competition they are involved in).

Highlighting to prevent confusion over the third event.

EF -- do people that fought have residual effects the day after? Will RA and Schmidty be a little beat up today, or do they compete at full strength?

They have both made a miraculous recovery, all that remains from last night are Schmidty's bruises...

Challenge effort could affect fight stamina but fights won't affect the next challenge.

The teams are being led to the competition ground, with a few minutes remaining to set strategies.

As you arrive you see three distinct locations. One is a circle on a large mat which you suspect will be sumo ring. Another is two tables with a divider between them. There seems to be three slots on the table, most likey used for the presumed rock, paper, scissors challenge.

Lastly ou see two rooms. They look like interogation rooms with two way mirrors looking into the rooms from the outside. It does not look like those inside the room will be able to see outside of the room. There are 6 chairs set up facing each room with a divider between the sets of chairs (looks like you can only watch one room).

The teams enter the arena and are escorted to the center.

"Gentelmen, welcome to the day two challenge."

"Please place your rock, paper and scissors on thetable with your team name on it."

Each team place their items in slots labeled 1, 2 and 3, but cannot see the other team's. As you step away from the table they are immediately covered.

"Thank you, we will see what you did with those later."

"First up will be the sumo competition. It is one bout, the first participant to knock their opponent out of the ring will win the competition and give their team a 1-0 lead in the challenge."

The two take their position .

Ready!!

Fight!!!

The two slam together. McCracken gets low and manages to get Strauss off balance. He stumbles backwards towards the line. McCracken pushes harder but Strauss begns to get his balance back but is still sliding backwards as he cannot get himself steadied completely.

McCracken digs deep and pushes harder and Strauss is out of the ring. Team Danny takes a 1-0 lead in the competition.

The teams make their way towards the table. Confident that they know what this challenge will be.

"This is a very simple challenge, the least stressful challenge that you will have."

"What is the name of this game?"

"Let's play that game, in the order that you placed the items..."

Team Autumn

Scissors
Rock
Paper

Team Danny

Scissors
Paper
Rock

Both of the first items cancel each other out. Each team then coers the other's rock with their paper, giving them each a win. Neither team wins this competition.

It is still 1-0 in favor of Team Danny going into the final challenge.

lol...okay, that went EXACTLY as I expected when I suggested that order.

What I didn't expect was that the game would continue after we won the second round. Oh well...

Each team is led to a different set of chairs, Team Danny to one set and Team Autumn to another.

Their participants are called forward.

For Team Danny: Uzzi Radovich and Jason Schmidt step forward.

For Team Autumn: Mike Jackson and Waylon Rodriguez step forward.

Each pair is led around the divider to the other room.

The remaining six for each team will watch their opponents pair and will not find out how their pair did until the competition is over.

What you are watching will be posted in your own team's thread. I'll see you there...

The horn finally sounds. The teams meet back in the main area of the arena. Schmidt and Radovich seem noticably tired. Jackson and Rodriguez look quite fresh, like they had just visited a spa.

After several jokes are made about the competition and how it seemed like some kind of g** p***. The results are announced.

Team Danny wins the competition as they win 2 of the 3 challenges. They get to pick tonight's matchups.

You sit and wait as Radovich and Schmidt enter the room. Schmidt climbs onto Danny as the horn sounds to begin the contest. He starts to circle....

He gets around one time, another, a third...

They continue to go, they look determined to win the competition.

A sixth rotation, a seventh, they are still going strong.

Twenty minutes later they are still going and finally Radovich says something to Schmidt and they stop. They have lasted quite a while and seem relatively tired.

You wait for the horn to end the competition (me posting in the main thread)...

You all sit and wait as Waylon Rodriguez climbs onto Mike Jackson as the horn sounds to start the competition. It will not sound again until both teams are done (when I post in the main thread).

You watch intently as Rodriguez begins to climb around Jackson. But before he even gets around one time Jackson says something to him and he jumps to the ground.

They seem quite happy with their effort. Now you wait for the horn...

Rules clarification. The matchups will be from fighters that have not yet fought. The main signup post is color coded. Green means the fighter was won and moves on to the final tournament. Red means they have fought and lost. If they are neither red nor green they are eligible to fight.

To answer a question about the last challenge. A tie would have meant that each team would select a member of the other team to be in the fight. Team Autumn would have selected the Team Danny member that would be fighting and Team Danny would have selected the Team Autumn member that would be fighting.

Another clarification. I must be losig my mind because I could have sworn that I had posted this but I can't find it now. There are no traitors in the game. With it being 5 on 5 for the team games it could no longer be a tie. Didn;t want the traitors to just be rogue players. I apologize if I didn't make that clear (I honestly thought I had posted that).

There will be some changes to the game at this point. With there being 10 current players The teams will be 5 and 5 with each team having 3 "CPU" fighters. With 10 players I will remove the traitor roles and add a couple mechanics that will allow for some team versus team "espionage". Additionally the CPU players will only fight other CPU players during the first round. This way the team game will be decided by 5 fights that are human player versus human player (the 3 CPU player fights will not count towards the team totals).

With that said, if we get two more players before the game starts that will put us at 12 human and just 4 CPU. The traitor roles will remain in play at that point as there will be 6 human versus human first round matches.

Here it is for your sanity's sake.

Tsunemi Uoya looks at the ground while he does his calming exercises. He knows he can not fail this night. Waylon Rodriguez looks at the ground while he does his calming exercises. He knows he can not fail this night. This is the first time they meet inside the cage.

The bets gives an equal chance to both fighters to score the win today.

The referee of the bout is Steve Mazzagatti.
