The Patriots had over 400 total yards while the Hawks could only muster 242 in a one sided exhibition game. Besides a 55 yard Catanzaro FG, the Seahawks got a 2nd rushing TD from QB Kenyon Cunningham, this time from 14 yards. Seattle also got a 91 yard Kick off return for a TD by Isaiah Hemond. The Patriots got 2 passing TDs and 1 rushing TD plus 3 FGs.

Seattle QB Kenyon Cunningham led all Seattle rushers with 62 yards in 9 carries. Cunningham was 11-33 with 104 yards passing with 1 INT. QB Andrew Luck started and was 5-10 for 38 yards with out an INT.

TE Kyle Rudolph had 3 catches for 35 yards. WR Laquon Treadwell made 1 catch, but it went for 67 yards.

ILB Kennedy Rankinen led the defense with 11 tackles while OLB Carl Lawson was credited with the only Sack for Seattle. The Patriots had 2 sacks and 6 hurries on the Seahawks QB today.

The injury news is not good for the Seahawks.

The Seahawks had just 317 totals yards compared to the Raiders with 225, but it was more then enough. The Hawks got 2 TD passes from QB Andrew Luck, 1 for 68 yards to WR Cole Beasley and a second one to Beasley for 7 yards. Isaiah Hemond had a 3 yard TD run while QB Kenyon Cunningham had a 27 yard TD pass to WR Cole Beasley for his 3rd TD catch of the game. K Chandler Catanzaro added 2 FG's.

RB Isaiah Hemond led the Seattle rushers with 40 yards on 23 carries. Considering 1 run was for 22 yards, he was not overly effective. QB Kenyon Cunningham was 12-19 with 1 TD and 0 INTs for 102 yards. QB Andrew Luck was 8-14 for 141 yards with 2 TDs and 0 INTs.

WR Cole Beasley had 7 catches for 122 yards and 3 TDs. WR Laquon Treadwell made 4 receptions for 45 yards.

Defensively, OLB Kyler Fackrell had 1 INT which he returned for 11 yards. S Eddie Jackson had 6 tackles and 3 assists. ILB Kennedy Rankinen, DE Carl Nassib and DE Scott Oakley where all credited with 1.0 Sacks.

The Seahawks got a 10 yard TD run from QB Kenyon Cunningham with 2:17 remaining on the clock to take a 17-16 lead and held on for the win. The Seahawks also had a 12 yard TD pass to TE Spencer Fitch from QB Andrew Luck and a 31 yard Chandler Catanzaro FG for the win.

RB Aaron Jones had 56 yards rushing on 17 carries for the team lead. QB Kenyon Cunningham ran the ball 7 times for 44 yards. Cunningham was also 11 for 21 for 93 yards with 0 TDs and 0 INTs. QB Andrew Luck was 6 for 9 for 45 yards with 1 TD and 1 INT in his final tuneup prior to the regular season. Both WR Tyler Boyd and TE Spencer Fitch had 3 catches in the game.

Defensively CB Mackensie Alexander and CB Will Redmond both had INTs for Seattle. OLB Carl Lawson had 10 tackles while the Hawks were not credited for a Sack in the game.

It took both offenses time to get started, the Cardinals got the first 1st down of the game nearly 8 minutes into the 1Q. With the Cardinals starting at the ARI 11, and now facing 2nd and 7, QB Joe Flacco connects with WR De Andre Hopkins for a 1st down on a 18 yard pass to the ARI 32. The next play on play action, Flacco hooks up with WR Asher Phillips for 13 yards to the ARI 45. Going play action again on the next play, Flacco completes to RB Rich Burks for 17 yards on a play up the middle to the SEA 38. After another 1st down and facing 2nd and 2, RB Jeremy Hill ran around LE for 11 yards to the SEA 6. Two plays later, WR Asher Phillips runs the reverse for a 3 yard TD run. After a touchback on the ensuing KO, Seattle starts at the SEA 25. After a 4 yard loss on the run and a False start penalty, Seattle is 2nd and 19. The Seahawks QB Andrew Luck completes a 24 yard pass to RB Aaron Jones for the Hawks first 1st down of the season to the SEA 40. On 2nd and 6, Luck connects with TE Spencer Fitch for 14 yards to the ARI 42. On the next play, a 26 yard pass to Al Keith is called back due to a holding penalty to C Nick Martin. RB Aaron Jones picks up his C with a 20 yard run on the next play for a 1st down to the ARI 32. After neither team could muster much offense, the Cardinals started a drive at the ARI 20. QB Joe Flacco was sacked by DE Ezekiel McDonald for a loss of 6 yards and Flacco fumbles. Seattle's McDonald recovers the ball and returns it to the ARI 9. ARI 7 SEA 3 2Q 10:07

Neither team could muster much offense on thier 1st possessions. Seattle started their second drive of the game at the SEA 16. On 2nd and 11, QB Andrew Luck had his passed intended for WR Cole Beasley picked off by OLB Eric Kendricks at the SEA 23 and returned to the SEA 20. SEA 0 HOU 0 1Q 9:33

Houston's backup QB Brad Kaaya comes out for this drive as Russel Wilson was hurt when he was sacked on the Texans 1st drive. The Texans can't take full advantage of the Luck interception and settle for a 35 yard K Parker Rogers FG try.....its good HOU 3 SEA 0 1Q 7:34

After the Texans KO, the Seattle Seahawks scrimmage 1st and 10 from the SEA 25. On 3rd and 10, QB Andrew Luck passes complete to WR Al Keith for 21 yards to the SEA 46. A little later facing 2nd and 11 at the HOU 44, RB Isaiah Hemond ran inside the left guard for 14 yards to the HOU 30 after a nice block by C Nick Martin. The Seahawks do get 1 first down on thier next drive but have to punt the ball back to the 49ers. QB Marcus Mariota will start his drive at the SF 30. The 49ers will start with the ball at the SF 16. Lets see if the Seattle defense can get a stop as the 49ers are 2 for 2 on TD drives so far in the game. The 49ers convert a 3rd and 7 with a 12 yard pass from QB Marcus Mariota to TE Tyler Higbee to the SF 31. Two plays later they convert on 2nd and 1. QB Mariota hooks up with WR Kenny Stills again, this time for 16 yards to the SEA 41. A couple of good defensive plays put the 49ers in 3rd and 15. Another loss, this time to a team that hopefully we could beat. This is the first time I thought I may have a 0-16 team, but the realm of possibility is certainly there.

The Seahawks expect MLB Corwin Fisher to make an immediate impact to the defense once he can knock off some rust. In 2020 limited to 13 games, he had 77 tackles, and in 2019 in 16 games he had 110 tackles.

The Seahawks lose a close one. The injuries to the secondary in CB Boyer and WLB Fackrell really hurt our passing defense. On the positive note, it appears that QB Kenyon Cunningham could develop into a starter. I know the Seattle media wants Cunningham in, but its still Lucks team for a little time longer.

With Earl Watford done for the season, the Hawks have signed LT Bert Cochrane. The 25 year old was the 6th round, 2020 NFL draft pick of the Ravens. He has 2 career NFL games under his belt in 2020 with the Ravens before being released.

Watford was 1 of 4 injuries sustained by the offensive line for the Seahawks against the Titans.

To have enough line man available for Week 13, the Seahawks had to sign LG Cory Kramer. The 24 year old was the Packers 4th round, 2020 pick in the NFL Draft. He was released by Green Bay in 2020 and later signed by the Browns for 2020. He has not played in 2021. In 2020 he had 0 KRB in 1 KRO and has played 8 plays in 7 career NFL games.

Yeah that is what I am hoping for..

I also think Hyland will become a decent defender as well.
