Spicy Soup Burns Hole In Chinese Man's Stomach

That's right, one of the special dishes out there is spicy mala soup, made with Sichuan pepper, a local spice, and chilli pepper. Apparently the food is so bad (and because it's sold so cheaply that some of the natural ingredients have been replaced with cheaper synthetic ingredients that replicate the numbing sensation of eating this soup).. that this person who had no history of gastrointestinal issues, ate a bowl, and started vomiting blood, where the doctors detemined that his meal had burned a hole in his stomach wall!
