Yep, and Patriots get the 2nd seed too. The only thing that would have made it perfect was Norv choking again in the 4th qtr, which almost happened.

The Packers D cost themselves the bye week and a home game vs SF. Should be able to beat the Vikings in Lambeau. I don't know what Capers was doing on that 3rd and 11 play. If Rodgers gets the ball back he wins the game so you only rush 3 and drop the DBs back 20 yards against Ponder? This is a blitzing, press coverage D. And Tramon Williams is supposed to be their best corner but he was the worst defender on the field. He alone might have cost them the game. They need to play better and should next week.

The teams that had the #1 and #3 picks are already in the playoffs(Colts and Vikings, who actually traded down to #4). Washington had #6, traded up to #2 and can make the playoffs with a win tonight. Pretty amazing turnarounds this year.

Houston then Denver is the best setup for the Bengals. They can beat Houston and they had a lead in the fourth against Denver earlier this year. I expect a loss next week, but getting away from NE is great.

Vikings coulda/woulda/shoulda won the first matchup at Lambeau so you might want to slow down on that.

The rookies didn't separate so far for the ROY talk either. If RGIII wins tonight I thnk ROY goes to him assuming a decent game from him. Then I think I'd go Wilson over Luck for 2nd place.

Incredible season for the three Rookie QBs.

Next year we will see nothing of the sort from one rookie QB.

Packers should be favored by 7 points at least. Some fluky plays went against them today, the biggest one was the Ponder throw up for grabs that bounced off Packer defenders right to a Vikings receiver. He didn't even make the catch but it was ruled that way and GB couldn't challenge due to not having a TO. Clock/crowd issues shouldn't be a problem for GB at home. Cobb and Woodson will be back. I don't see them losing at home but they'd be in much better shape waiting for SF to come to Lambeau.

If the Vikes do happen to beat them it will set up an interesting game against the Falcons who have yet to shake the 'can't win in the playoffs' syndrome off.

And there were no funny bounces in Lambeau.... riiiight.

Anyway, lots of goofy shit happened in this game that could have gone either way. The completed pass that went high up into the air could go either way (obviously it was incomplete but in real time the ref will call it complete because it looked that way), Peterson's non-fumble, Jones' non fumble (which actually should have been placed at the inch-yard line and then add the 15 yard penalty on top of that, IMO). So much shit could have changed throughout the course of the game there is no point in talking about it.

Griffin has no explosiveness running the ball.

Dallas should not key on him.

These Falcons are different, hungry even. And I think the "can't win" mentality isn't there.

i disagree, they should hit him every time he playfakes even if he doesnt have the ball. hit him as much as possible, rookie QB's are always shaken the more they are hit
