On the topic of "Guest", I know that there is considerable consternation about potential spies from the other tribes invading your territory and violating the sanctity of your tribal thread. As your host, I can tell you that we do take security very seriously when we ship you off to a remote local. If we are going to stage competitions that push you to your physical limit - like posting in threads and writing poems - then we at least owe you that much. However, even in the most obscure areas on the planet there is a chance that a native to the land (ie - lurker, no FOFC account) might be curious about the camera crews and the competitions.

We strive to create a compelling environment for our viewers, and will continue to do so. I know that the networks (Barkeep) demand this and that any illicit activity on the part of the other tribes will be met with harsh punishment.

No question just that one time

On the topic of wolves, why does everyone have the impression that they exist on this island? This rumor seems to have spread like wildfire, but the only people who are not here are the people who were voted off in tribal councils. The last night passed, and we didn't have any mutilated bodies, no one was howling at the moon.

If there was some kind of plot twist out there like a werewolf, why didn't it strike when it should have had the chance?

There's a chance I may have. Actually she's upset because I wouldn't let her take her physical fitness assessment...so her liberty isn't what it was.

After today's event, I wasn't feeling, well kind at all.

I think she may go tell my boss.

I'd guess so hoops. I think there may be other issues at hand as well. I think they may only have certain chances to go after someone, things like that.

Well, I'm maybe 85% sure that there are wolves. It would be curious if there was a game of werewolf that didn't have wolves, particularly when we have been told that there is a seer and a bodyguard - if there are no wolves, what do those roles do? I suppose that maybe the wolves don't know that they are wolves just yet.

I am caught up after watching the US vs. Mexico game. I guess I got confused about what a tribal council is. This has been a unique game.

Raiders Army and his detailing earlier of ImTheCrew did bother me a bit. We all know that someone volunteered. I will go ahead and say that I volunteered but did not get chosen.

Earlier in the game you benefitted from having an extra member on your team - during the scavenger hunt. Today, that may have hurt you as you had more resources to manage in the competition. By the end of tomorrow you will have to vote off one of your own.

Do you think that there is any advantage to be gained from reducing the size of your team? Perhaps in terms of cohesion, adaptability to different challenges, etc?

I'll be honest, I don't know. I don't know what the point of this game is. Are we competing for individual glory? Are we going to have to sell out our teammates at some point? My understanding of Survivor is that it's an individual competition, so I don't get how the teams fit into that.

I'm more interested in the werewolf aspect of the game, anyway - that's why I'm interested in a) protecting our seer, and b) getting a wolf out of here.

hoops, It just depends on the challenge. I think we won day 1 because of our football knowledge. I mean, that game was made for us. We are all original. FOFCers and we all know about that.

Day 2 was more of an academic topic. Obviously, that counteracted with our football knowledge. We know football, not poems.

Day 3 there was just many screw ups, mainly by me.

Also, everyone knows the wolves are going to come after our team hard. It is no secret the seer is among us. In fact, I wish barkeep would have kept that quite because now the wolves have a 20% chance of hitting the seer.

How would this so-called "seer" capability impact your voting decisions? If there is someone with these gifts in your number, then it seems like the decision to vote him off could have dire reprecussions in the event that there actually is a wolf-man running around on the island disguised as a competitor/human.

I have long since given up on the idea of werewolf players behaving rationally.

For example, today - during any given voting cycle, had Swaggs been the guy to post first, no votes for him would have counted. So early in the day lupus should have handed off the vote to him.

Obviously we wouldn't want to vote the seer out, and doing so would really screw up our chances.

Well I know I'm not the seer. I suppose I could just ask the guys to vote me out, figuring that way the seer makes it. I probably won't do that, though.

Any guesses as to what might happen to Swaggs as a result of getting the most votes? Will the fact that he "lost" the individual aspect of today's challenge impact your attitudes towards him going forward?

I'd be fairly confident that Schmidty is neither, or he would likely be more adamant to stick around. Then again, that's good cover for a wolf, isn't it?

My best guess is that he's going to be removed from his team - that he'll be his own team, or something.

I honestly don't see how you can get any information about anything from that vote.

My thought is that Schmidty could be the seer and is keeping a very low profile. But I do not want to help the wolves out anymore than I can.

When it comes time to cast a vote, will you be making your choice based upon actions since arriving on this island, or based upon the reputation of that person? Are you set on your vote at this point, or can it still be influenced by actions between now and the deadline?

Ummmmm...I guess I missed the initial part of tribal council. Sorry. Lost comes on late for us and I watched it. Anyhow, I was unavailable most of yesterday due to a VTC that lasted all day and fighting against backstabbing both within my directorate and outside of it.

Anyhow, so there is no misunderstanding...I wanted AE to stay because he's a good guy. That had nothing to do with metagaming. As it is, within the game, it would've been to my advantage to get him to leave since I believe that the wolf (if there is one and I'm pretty sure there is) is either ITC or myself since we were the only tribemembers on right after the first call for a volunteer came out. If AE leaves, then that means I am safe from scrutiny for another day and that gives me more time to examine ITC. So with all that being said, I was not trying to get AE to stay to pull something over in the game. Also, AE has been a big contributor in the challenges.

When you are the bodyguard or a wolf there is a question of psychology. Who do you guard that night? Who should you attack? The most obvious person? But if they're so obvious does that really make them not obvious? And on and on this game of psychology can go.

Well today you all will be asking yourselves something similar. Each tribe is being allocated $29. Your goal as a tribe is to get the most points. There are 15 "places" you can bid on with different points. Those places are
A. Greater Werewolvia - 33
B. Middle Werewolvia - 14
C. Lesser Werewolvia - 20
D. Fleabit Cove - 11
E. Dogbonia - 10
F. Dog Ear - 12
G. Homidia - 15
H. Lupinia - 16
I. Garouvia - 25
J. North Canis - 17
K. Lake Wolfsbane - 18
L. South Canis - 29
M. Lower Fang - 23
N. Upper Fang -21
O. Alpovia - 13

Each tribe may spend some of their money bidding on a place. The highest bid wins. Tribes should submit to me their list of bids for each of the places by 10 PM today. The tribe with the most points will win the challenge, while the tribe with the fewest will head to tribal council.

Since information is life in this game the winning tribe will gain some new information. Each player on the winning tribe will get to ask, via PM, one of the following questions:
How many wolves are on tribe X?
How many wolves are in the game?
Does player X have an idol?
What was the vote total of tribe council for Tribe X? (For Lupus must chose one of their two tribal councils)
What will be the reward at tomorrow's challenge?

Survivors ready? GO!

Bolded so we can read it better.

Some thoughts before I leave for the day. Today is lunch out with the wife so I won't be in at lunch time.

I think we need to bid about $10-15 on a larger place...like I or L. The rest should be divyed up for smaller, but not the least places.

If it were up to me, I'd go:

$14 on South Canis (29)
$6 on Upper Fang (21)
$3 on Lesser Werewolvia (20)
$3 on Dogbonia (10)
$3 on Alpovia (13)

I have to leave earlier for a lunch with the CO and CMC. Can you fathom what I'll talk about?

"Hi, I have 95 days left in the Navy. How are you?"

Hopefully, it means I'm home earlier, but who knows.

Your guess is as good as mine, RA.

I think you'll probably talk about re-upping.

Anyhow, last thought before I leave:

There are 277 points available. With four tribes, that averages out to 69.25 points per tribe. We need to get above that. For those 69.25 points, we need to earn at least 2.3879 points per dollar. I'm out until about 7 EST.
