PureSim 2006 - Integrated HTML Almanac

Hey guys, I just released some info / screens on PureSim Baseball 2006's new browsable almanac feature.

Basically it is Cato/Baseballreference.com integrated directly into the game.

Here is some more info

I'd be interested in any feedback or ideas you guys may have.

Shaun

Looks great Shaun. Might be the first year I purchase Puresim. Assuming I get un-banned at the Matrix forums.

These look great. I was going to buy the current version a month or so ago, then got busy with life and, um, Oblivion.

Once things settle down a bit and I've got more time, I'm looking to buy the new PureSim, GalCiv2, and Birth of America.

Thanks Shaun. All the screenshots of the almanac looks fantastic. It makes me want to hold onto making my OOTP 6 league that I want to because I don't want to mess with Cato. Sorry if the following are silly questions, but I've only tried the demos of Puresim, but I assume it inputs the rookies much like OOTP does correct? Using a Lahman's type DB to import rooks every year? What's the last year you can import before it doesn't let you anymore. OOTP is 2002 in version 6, is there a cap in yours?

Yep

Yep it does import the rookies and is compatible with the latest and greatest Lahman (2005 Season)

Erik Rutins talked me into buying Puresim during the height of the MaxFB fiasco. I have to say, I'm pretty impressed. Keep up the good work Shaun.

I love this feature, this might give Puresim the edge for me over OOTP this year. Great job Shaun!

If only Shaun would make a football sim, I would pre-order in a second.

Shaun, you are second to none, IMHO, in customer service/interaction. I'm not slighting Jim or Arlie, but you just have this huge track record of "slow and steady wins the race."

This may make me buy a baseball sim (last I purchased was OOTP4 and that really made me realize I didn't like baseball).

What I've always liked about Shaun is he's excellent at giving a timetable and sticking to it. Not to mention the way he values community input for finding bugs and promoting features.
