Another spring training and it seems the results are similar. One team running away with the NL, the AL in a deadlock.

Ok, so we've got two new owners. We welcome two fast-sim veterans to the SLOP rolls. Syracuse will welcome spleen1015 and Rio Grande will get veteran owner Tellisto to this reins.

Ok, half-season ran without spoilers. Mid-season break time. Please set your draft lists for tonight's file. You can make trades tonight and can offer make PUBLIC BIDS for major league free agents. That is, the only FAs you can sign during the mid-season break are the kind that will be on your ML roster for the rest of the year and all bids must be posted in this thread publicly.
A very, very interesting first half with business as usual in the NL and some regime change in the AL as we approach the deadline. It'd be great to see some dealing though I realize the cap constraints are going to prevent widespread player movement but I think if teams that are needing a strong second half to get into contention do some investigating they might find that the lower-half of the market would be receptive to picks/taking on salary if the trade sweetener was worthwhile enough. Lots of win-wins out there to be had! Happy 1st half. See you all tomorrow night. |

If you notice messed up names on your roster, it's due to the problem that happened when I was trying to add new people to the file. I was trying to make the file smaller, didn't include the names.dat file and it caused that issue. I've tried to fix what I noticed, but if I missed someone (the person will be named "Unknown" or "Smith") then let me know and I will fix it.

I have fixed most of these. So if you download the latest file on the server, it'll update your names.dat file and the names will now be correct, as I fixed the majority of them last night...but if you didn't download the new file yet, you won't see the name changes and even if you did, download again anyway. |

4th place and a $99m payroll wasn't getting it done I didn't think we would be that bad but Syracuse and Memphis have our number and New York is decent too so its time to go into rebuild mode. Normally i just let the AI draft for me but this year it looks like we actually have real talent to select from. gg to work but I've exported.

Your exports will not be affected by the name changes. OOTP exports only fail if the day changes. So long as it's the same day and my machine has the latest file, it won't matter..your exports will be fine. Just an FYI. |
