I should've done 1 more day in the sim. Playoff teams remember the extra days rest when deciding your pitching match-ups.

What was the issue? A one game playoff is the best, IMHO.

Good to be back in the postseason... especially when it wasn't expected from this squad

I wasn't sure what would happen in the fact that the team that lost the 2 games would've been tied with the 3rd place team. It may have caused another forced tie-breaker. I agree that 1 game is easier. It was 3 games for the final playoff spot and 1 game for the 1st place tie.

I guess it's finally rebuild time in Ann Arbor

Not getting my FA signings and rolling with a 21 man roster is just bad news...

I'll have to look at the standings, because I never understood how this could happen. Only way is if the team that lost two games, only lost two games and didn't win at all. Any other way, and they play an odd game that always has them a 0.5 game ahead of the third place team (in case the third place team was originally a game back).

I don't know, I'm just confused about it. The game should give you the option to set up playoffs however you like.

OOTP13 does allow me to setup playoffs the way I want. What the problem is, is it doesn't allow me to designate tie-breakers the way I want.

That's weird. Seems nonsensical to give one and not the other. Maybe Markus should be alerted and this added to a fix list for the next patch?

He's aware of this one Chief. He thinks the 1 game tie-breakers are how MLB does them so this is suitable.
