I don't get why they would attack hoops, and not grey or swaggs.

I still haven't caught up and there's a lot of RL things I need to attend to, but Thomkal, to answer your question, I voted for Grey earlier in the weekend and I'm glad he came out with his role reveal. Now we have some sort of info we can go on.
I was this close to not voting yesterday because we came back late from an afternoon walk. I logged on to my computer to see it was 10 minutes til deadline and voted for Chubby in a haste not knowing what transpired. |

Swaggs, given that I identified GE as the person who attacked me I have never felt better about a vote in this game.

Im pretty sure he voted earlier in the day when I voted. At the time it was Chubby or grey with the votes. So you either voted for grey and possibly damn moses, or you vote chubby and give him a day to prove himself. I was kind of suprised the vote was as close as it was at the time that I voted for chubby |

Hoops, I like where you are going today and it looks like it might be serving its purpose. Someone is standing out a bit because of it. Agreed?
Also, your largest, in my opinion, assumption about this game is true. Hopefully all this makes sense. |

Swaggs, I'm not sure I completely follow you on Post #2009 but if we are talking about the same (largest) assumption, then I think we are on the same page.
By the way, everyone knows that I cannot protect you again tonight Swaggs. So you are clearly at risk if (when?) the game does not end with GE's lynch. I would urge you to make sure you get out any last words/theories before the Night 7 kill because the wolves almost HAVE to go after you tonight. |

I know. I got a message, as well. I will do what I can as far as revealing information, but Grey should be able to present anything I have tomorrow, as well. Plus, info on whatever happens between now and then. |

I think at this point in the game (unless it ends with today's lynch) the safest plays are going to be following Swaggs's Hoops and Grey's leads for the votes. Primarily since we know they don't have any secondary motive in who they push for.
I'm pretty much suspicious of anyone thats still around now I think, and don't really have any stronger feelings about those that are left once GE is dead. I'm up for theories or things to look at, but with the numbers on our side 8-1 or 7-2 I'm pretty ok with going along with those three group consensus on things from here out. |

Alan, I agree with you.
I almost think that, if they are still out there, it might be time for Snowball and/or the non-Grey Clover/Moses to reveal and see if we can build our circle out a little bit. Again, I also call on everyone to reveal whether or not the have used a tiebreaker. I recognize that a few the holders may be dead at this point, but I still think it would be helpful. |

GE, depends on if you think you have ANY chance of escaping. If so, go for it. If not, hang out in the thread and crack jokes, feed us misinformation, whatever floats your boat.
I think either approach makes for a more interesting game that just avoiding the thread until the deadline and watching the unanimous vote come in. |

Dola - some of the most fun times in WW for me have been when I was busted and managed to escape for one more day. There is something that is stupidly gratifying about getting over in that kind of situation, even if it is short-lived.

Agree. The one time I was evil was not very exciting, and it seemed like we were going to get beat pretty early, but I do remember fondly making up some lame story that saved my butt for a day. It was just one day, and it didn't affect the game in the slightest, but it was still pretty fun. |

For what it is worth, I was pretty frustrated playing bodyguard this game. I couldn't understand why you guys kept leaving Swaggs alone. And whether I was right or wrong about Anxiety's role, it galled me that you got him on a night where I could have doubled back to protect him.
I was happy with bluffing yesterday on protecting Grey, however. If you had attacked him then information would have died with him instead of being passed on to Swaggs. |

If they killed Grey, we would have known Grey was telling the truth. I still say it was a lame role reveal. |

Sure, but we would not have had any way of learning the info on the three (now four) people that Grey did not reveal.

Tough call on whether the game will end. On the one hand, attacking hoops seems like a desperate move, that would be made only as a last ditch by the revs. On the other hand, if they're down to one rev, you'd think they'd have to play it conservative and avoid at all costs anything that risks the last rev being outed.
My best reasoning says that the revs would only attack hoops if they had the numbers to risk losing one. It HAS to be a calculated risk, especially since they knew hoops was trusted. On the other hand, I'm surprised they didn't go for Swaggs -- though if I was one of the revs, and we attacked Swaggs, I guess we would have been falling into hoops's trap, so maybe I was wrong. You're sure he attacked you, and not Swaggs? Even if there's more than one rev it doesn't make all that much sense, but with only one rev, it makes even less sense. |

Pass, they attacked me. Not Swaggs. I'm sure.
I don't have any advantage in playing games with this information. The Revs know who they attacked, so there is no chance for me to "bluff" them here with this information. |

Path, are you familiar with the "Nightfall" vote over at BGG? If so, I would like to invoke it here.
Basically, if there is a day where the decision is a foregone conclusion then the moderator can post results early if/when people invoke the "Nightfall" vote. This should not be invoked if the lynch victim is putting up a vigorous defense, but in this case he is voting for himself. Anyways, I figure this is also a decent topic for discussion on a day that doesn't have a whole lot of it. Do people support the idea of wrapping up a day earlier than the deadline in cases where everyone knows what direction the votes are going to go? |

Well aware of it and I would have no problem invoking it here. For those of you who are not aware of the rule: If a majority of those who have voted agree to end the day early (just put "vote nightfall" in a post), we will end the day at that point and get on with things. So it will take five votes and we now have one.

Final vote count:
GoldenEagle 9 -- Hoops (1970), Thomkal (1973), Passacaglia (1979), Alan T (1981), Dodgerchick (1998), Swaggs (2007), Fouts (2018), GoldenEagle (2023), Greyroofoo (2027) Not voting: None. There was no debate today. When hoopsguy finally caught his breath after the attack, he pointed out GoldenEagle as his attacker. GoldenEagle stoically strode to the front of the animals to await his fate and was dispatched without uttering a sound. Was there a sniffle in the crowd or was it just the wind? You all head back to the barns, confident that justice has been served. GOLDENEAGLE HAS BEEN LYNCHED. NIGHT ACTIONS ARE DUE 9AM EASTERN TOMORROW.
