I do have a power that if executed, might have stopped clap's scan — whether in the manner he reports or not I couldn't say.

However, it's not under the sign of the Yak, so I obviously was unable to use it (and wasn't intending to use it even if I could have done so).

I'm not behaving any differently than I usually behave. I share information on a need-to-know basis as a general rule.

Dola, and I generally dislike giving out any more information about unused powers than is necessary lest I draw unwanted attention.

Well, since I have my vote on him I'm obviously not altogether happy with his versions of events.

I'm sure there could be good and bad reasons for being evasive. But in a game where I've got reasons not to vote for several people I don't have one for him.

Given that I explicitly haven't done anything, what am I being evasive about? I'm not freely sharing info on my unused powers... can you point me to someone who is freely sharing info on unused powers?

Isn't this game a bit different though since there isn't a specific BG/seer, etc? I think sharing info is more important and less risky here than in most games.

MrW, fwiw I agree that you are playing just like you normally do.

In terms of secrecy, with rotating one-use powers I think there is a little more incentive to share information. If you are the seer one night you shouldn't automatically be the target the next. Some discretion is appropriate given that if everyone shares their powers then the bad guys can set up a pretty safe scenario come Day 5 by eliminating people with powers to spare.

But since we haven't gotten an Avatar yet I think we are better served by trying to communicate info in hopes of making a good decision with today's vote. I'm not going all "game is on the line" just yet, but we aren't trending all that well up to this point.

We have a couple of cases where one person has claimed to scan another and had them come up clean. claphamsa claims to have attempted a scan on me and had it not come up at all, which is raising eyebrows about me (but IMO should also be raising eyebrows about clap, who has neatly managed to cast doubt on me without actually lying and saying I'm not an elemental).

Other than that, we're hurt badly by striking out on our first couple of votes. It would help considerably if the person who struck down saldana would admit to it.

As things stand, I have two powers that may be of some use as we approach endgame, and I plan to use one of them tonight if I survive the lynch.

I'm reacting to Schmidty and Clap based on my assumptions on both of these guys as non-tricky players.

I agree it would be a good Avatar move for either of them to "clear" someone to build their own trust. But it isn't consistent with my internal profiles of either player based on past experience and reading along. Don't get me wrong, I'm a long way from blind trust on either player but those are my impressions on those two players.

I am, understandably, NOT on board with the Mr. W plan. Furthermore, I think it would behoove you all to have an alternate candidate so you can learn a little more than nothing at all, which is what you'll get by all piling on me.

If I may follow by picking a couple of candidates out of hoops's "reasons not to vote"...
4.) Cronin - powers blocked on Night 1? Seems to have had Duke power (has this been explicitly stated?) on Day 2
5.) Path - powers blocked on Night 1?

I tend to think that powers being blocked are in no way determinative about a person, any more than Duking is determinative.

Also, I think hoops should remain in the frame.

Dola, personally, I don't have any strong feelings about anyone, which is not the best situation to be in. I'm fine with staying away from the folks who have a small degree of trust (Schmidty/Lathum and jeheinz/JEzarik).

I'm still put off a little bit by claphamsa's "defensive" play of last night, which was ineffective.

Well here is my 2 cents, I dont have feelings on a lot of people, if there is anyone I sense somthign about its heinze, ive played with him a lot, and never seen him this quiet! that bothers me (wildy divergent behavior always does) no eveidence other than that. on the wednesday thing he might be bad, but if he is hes doing a real crappy job of it! so while he bothers me..... I gotta think either hes good and actully tryign to help or is just not good at beign bad, or he could jsut be playing me for a n00b!

I would agree that these are weaker reasons than some of the others.

As it pertains to me, I would ask everyone to challenge me in whatever fashion they think is appropriate. I'll be around to respond.

Either use the multiquote button (unlabeled in the skin I use), or click to quote one, copy the quoted content, back out, and quote the other.

You posted at 3:45.

I am always VERY suspicous of someone who casts a vote on a player after that player announces they will be out for the rest of the day.

"Multi-quote" is the way to do it. Then "Quote" for the last one in the sequence.

Lathum, Path, MrW - have any of you guys played with Clap before as a wolf? As a villager? I don't have a read on his "wolf game" vs his "villager game" from the little bit of reading along that I've done for games he has played.

I never said my ability was blocked on night 1.

What happened on night 1 was that one of my powers, a power that I was not using, was changed.

Day 2, yes, to be explicit: I duked the vote.

To hoops's question about claphamsa, I think the only game we've both been in was the recently-concluded BCS game, where claphamsa was a non-"bad guy".

Lathum, Path, MrW - have any of you guys played with Clap before as a wolf? As a villager? I don't have a read on his "wolf game" vs his "villager game" from the little bit of reading along that I've done for games he has played.

I missed this one sorry, actually I have NEVER been a wolf (im not counting the thanksgiving game) so there isnt much difference! Usualy I make lots of posts till people decide im annoying then kill me
