His ratings are very good in the coverages, but he didn't make an impact play all season. Newman and Reeves really need to get better quickly... those catch rates are horrible. Some of that may be on on Briggs who looks pretty horrible, but put together solid numbers and looks to be creeping upward. Overall the defense played very well, but the offense was terrible. O.J. Winters came out of the draft with horrible ratings, but is creeping quickly and looks like a stud. If Reeves, Newman, and Briggs come around this could be a pretty good team in a few seasons. Unfortunately Briggs and his receivers didn't show much improvement. There are some pretty good players on this team, but a lot of dead weight. Last edited by Daimyo : 01-11-2008 at 11:53 PM. |

For those paying attention, yes we started 7-0, despite playing five road games, and finished 1-8. What happened? The defense was ravaged by injuries with Danek, Granados, Krueger, and others all missing several games. With so little depth it was just too much to overcome. Four players retire at the end of the season: RB O.J. Winters TE Shannon Matos TE Leon Reynolds CB Jonathan Buchanan Winters is obviously a huge hit as he was the undisputed star of the team. He finishes second all time in rushing yards, touchdowns, and all-purpose yards. He won the league MVP award in 2012 and 2013. He gained more than 1,200 yards in each of his first eight seasons and never once failed to get 1,000 yards. He finishes with 14,456 yards rushing on 3,301 attempts (4.38 YPA) and 108 TD. He caught 571 out of 676 passes for 4,154 yards (6.14 YPT) and 21 TD. I don't see this team breaking 500 again without him. Last edited by Daimyo : 01-13-2008 at 10:29 PM. |

We actually have to start switching positions around to field a legal roster this season... With pretty much everyone else dead or dying, Briggs carries the team on his back to its first ever playoff bye week! Code:

After the 2018 season 15 players retire leaving only 28 and killing this dynasty.
